Hotel with great character in the capital of Franconia

Hotel with great personality right in the center of Nuremberg. Amazing welcome from the owner who provided us with interesting details about the whole city and recommendations for the evening. Very pleasant spa and pool area with free access even until 10 (something very unusual in Germany).
Breakfast for a fee, but of excellent quality. Particularly appreciated was the selection of typical cheeses and sauces and the pancakes with cream and berries ❤️

Cute and Comfy and Close Enough to the Christmas Market, But Be Clear About Breakfast

Very cute hotel in the old town, cobblestone roads and all. Close enough to the Christmas market to pop in and out to warm up or add layers as the temperature dropped. The hotel is adjacent to a bar so it got very loud at night with trash/bottle dumping. But it was otherwise comfy. The gummy bears on the pillow were a nice touch.
Take the front desk recommendation on food, especially the Goldener Post Horne (so good!).
Pro tip: clarify at check-in exactly what you are agreeing to if you respond that you want breakfast. It was not explained and I didn't ask for clarification. I assumed we would pay at checkout for the breakfasts we ate. Apparently you are agreeing to breakfast each day and are paying for it whether you partake or not. So that was 30 euros wasted as we had an early train on checkout day and didn't have time to eat. Disappointing and frustrating (especially the response), but the day we did have breakfast we enjoyed it very much!

The room size/balcony were amazing. Tea pot in the room was a bonus. Staff was very helpful. Was not there long enough to enjoy the pool or sauna.

Beautiful

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The hotel is right at the foot of the Kaiserburg, but getting there from the city center on foot is difficult. Apart from that, the hotel has very spacious rooms and everything you need in the room. I liked it.
