Excellent breakfast. Only a few minutes walk to everything. Disappointed that we were not told about building work that started at 06.15 in the morning!

Very simple.

To call the hotel a guesthouse would certainly be wrong. But it is closer to the truth than the self-description "the most beautiful thing about the Baroque city of Rastatt" or similar. We had planned a romantic weekend but left after seeing the room. Arg simple, slightly worn out, very simple, winding rooms - all for the price of a real hotel, which of course was fully charged.

Great hotel

Halfway through Italy, this hotel and also the town of Rastatt were a good choice for an overnight stay. The hotel is an imposing building in the centre. We could park in front of the door which was very nice. Once inside, it became a great experience. I am a movie lover and I felt like this was the hotel from the movie “the shining”! Great! That red carpet with motif, rehearsing on all four floors. The infinitely long, narrow corridors that almost make you get lost. Only Jack Nicholson and the ghosts were missing. Apart from this association it is a fine normal hotel:)
