Well-maintained restaurant with excellent cuisine

We had a table on the terrace (reservation recommended) and were served very well and promptly; the asparagus with salmon and the boiled ox were excellent. Absolutely recommended.

Gastronomic delights in the centre of St. lasien

The Dom Restaurant in St. Blasien is a highly recommended address. Starting with the perfect, attentive, but unobtrusive and professional service of Alex Springer to the excellent drinks and delicious food in a very pleasant ambience on the terrace. We had ordered fish, rump steak and boiled oxmeat of the Baden type as main courses. The latter was served with plenty of side dishes and sauces, which was quite the secret wish. We were all extremely satisfied and would love to come back.

Service ignored us.

Unfortunately, the hotel is not dependent on guests. We left after half an hour. Requested a menu, but didn't get one. The staff is unfriendly. When I asked for the password for the Internet, he answered me against that he didn't have time.

Always pure enjoyment and relaxation

We stayed for the second time for a week over New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, including half board and festive menus at the Dom Hotel. The hotel is a little old but it has charm. The rooms are well and solidly equipped, spacious and clean. The bathroom was newly renovated, big enough and had a window to the cathedral (as was our room). The breakfast buffet was well stocked, with fresh bakery rolls and excellent coffee from Tee-Peter in Freiburg. But as for the food: the 4-course evening menu was more than just convincing, everything was homemade, not convenience food. It was a pleasure to sit down at the table in the evening. There was absolutely nothing to complain about the whole week. Towards the end we fancied blue trout (fresh from the hotel's own pond) and wanted to pay for it as a main course. This was promptly added to the half board menu. We'll be back!!!
