Nice hotel

We spent three days in the Black Forrest and made this hotel our base for different trips. Check in was easy, the room clean and it had everything we needed including a fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. The room came with free breakfast which was continental but they also offered to make scrambled or boiled egg. They only offer breakfast no lunch or dinner but there are some restaurant within walking distance. The hotel also has a sauna but you need to make an appointment and it costs extra. The pictures are from a hiking trail that starts right behind the hotel.

· חדר מרווח . ארוחת בוקר סבירה (צריך לבקש חביתה). יש חניה לרכבים. יש קפה בחדר. Wi-Fi סביר.
a spacious room . Reasonable breakfast (should ask for omelette). There is car parking available ץThere is coffee in the room
· אין מעלית. אין מיזוג אוויר. צוות נחמד אך לא יודע אנגלית.( ביקשתי משהו קטן ליום נישואין ,הביאו שמפניה ושוקולד וחייבו מבלי שיידעו אותי על העלות מלכתחילה )
. No elevator. No air conditioning. Nice staff but don't know English.. Wi-Fi is reasonable.
(I asked for a little something for a wedding anniversary, brought champagne and chocolate and charged without knowing me about the cost in the first place)

Beautifully Place - feel at home.

Location was good. Very close to Triberg about a 15 minute walk. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Had one on the top floor -- excellent view. Martin was the best. Friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Only downside and maybe not really but internet access would go out at times. Best part of our trip. Breakfast was amazing. Eggs to order and anything you could think of to eat. Homemade pastries. If we ever go back to Germany definitely would stay here again.

downgraded and charged double

I arrived at the hotel to find out the upper room I reserved on Hotels.com had been rebooked to someone else! I was offered a cheaper room on a lower floor as my only option and instead of being offered a partial refund for the downgrade, I was asked to pay double the rate of what I booked online! When I refused to pay double for a cheaper room and showed my email confirmation with the price guarantee, the attendant accepted my payment in cash for the original rate...and then after I checked out and left I saw that my credit card was double charged without authorization! I tried for several weeks to request a refund from the hotel for this double charge but they never even responded to me or to Hotels.com emails and phone calls! Be warned...

Lovely small family run hotel

We had a lovely stay at Berghotel Schiller. The wood in the rooms is beautiful. A lovely full breakfast. A short walk (down a hill) to the town, which has enough shops/eating places that you don't need to go to Triberg.
We had the top suite room (which is wonderful), except that we opened the glass windows as it was a bit warm in the afternoon and all these giant bees flew in, so we had a bit of trouble getting them out.
Be aware, that the rooms are cleaned during breakfast. We were quite surprised about this.
