Bavarian classic hotel

The location is fantastic and the staff is the best! Michaela and Heidi were so gracious and friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. All of the staff was friendly but the front desk really set the tone for our visit, so helpful and nice! The parking garage is just down the street and you really only need to park the car and enjoy downtown Weiden. Full of restaurants, shops, bakeries etc. I enjoyed this stay tremendously and we will be back!!

Needs renovation and poor service

The hotel is very clean but unfortunately the rooms are in need of renovation. The breakfast performance was greatly improveable (no coffee maker available) and the service dr reception also left much to be desired (problems exiting the car park paid for in the hotel were not dealt with / discussed away, the invoice requested by email had to be re-fed several times). Bottom line: Clearly too expensive for what is on offer.

Quaint stay in Weiden Altstadt

The hotel had a nice old timey vibe. The receptionist was very sweet and also accommodated my request for a late check in. Be sure to call / email beforehand to let them know that you would arrive late. The room and bathroom were very clean and cozy. I felt that the breakfast was pricey and did not opt for it. There is a nice bakery outside and the hotel itself has a nice view out front. I can recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

Friendly & accommodating!

Very friendly and cult!
We had booked four days and wanted to leave sooner because of the bad weather, which was possible without any problem!!!
The rooms are very clean!
The style is a bit “old fashioned”, but fits the overall picture!
Breakfast is also great!

A Classic Klassik

Cozy, tidy, and located in the old gate house in the 14th century city walls, the Klassik is both quaint and comfortable and located close to the best restaurants and cafes. The rooms are smallish, but arrow-slit windows and half-timber walls make them work!
