Not necessarily very good

Not bad, but not good either. The first room was smoked before I moved in. Funny that nothing was done about the smell. They were definitely very surprised. So second room moved in. Window out front, extremely drafty and cold despite plastic frame. In addition, the outdoor area was brightly lit all night by the light of bistro advertising. Even the curtains did nothing to counteract the bright flood of light. Overall, the room made a very worn out impression. Many damages to the furniture, stains on walls and lampshades, life-threatening in the bathroom. An LED socket hung down from the ceiling broken, the cable from the hairdryer was patched with Tesafilm and the bathroom fan hung only needlessly in the frame. Apart from the fact that the water pressure dropped a lot when you tried to make the shower water a little colder, you immediately noticed the mold infestation on the shower cubicle. Housekeeping looks different, especially in terms of prices. Breakfast buffet was ok but not very impressive. Rolls light as a feather, very manageable sausage and cheese selection, but otherwise it worked. Overall, it doesn't have to be another night here. That's better.

Not so good this time, unfortunately

Unfortunately, this time the stay was not good: In the room you could hear the reception area and it was worn out. There were only two small towels (and no shower towel). At breakfast some food, drinks and dishes were missing, but this was only restocked on demand. Too bad previous stays were better.

Simply the Best

Our home away from home. The staff is attentive, the property is sparkling clean and the food is always amazing from the lamb chops, to the salmon, to the salads, it’s all perfectly prepared and plated. The property sits in a quiet cul de sac in a neighborhood in Bublingshausen, but is a quick walk or bus ride to downtown Wetzlar.

PERFECT

This was our 3rd stay.
The Owners work so hard to achieve perfection and they over succeed. All staff are brilliant.
Awesome food, service, bedrooms are very comfortable with everything provided. So clean and the attention to detail is remarkable.
Well done team Hotel Blankenfeld!
