Acropolis View Dream Hostel turned out to be a really pleasant surprise and a great base for exploring Athens. The rooms were simple but clean, the shared kitchen and common areas made it easy to chat with other travelers, and the rooftop terrace with the Acropolis in the distance was the highlight of every evening. The neighbourhood felt busy and a bit rough at first, but after a day I appreciated how convenient it was for cheap food and transport, and I ended up really enjoying the atmosphere and would happily stay here again

Bedbugs and junkies

BEDBUGS AND HEROIN ADDICTS SHOOTING UP OUT FRONT.
Unsafe areas.
Had to make my own bunk, sheets bed frame and find a filthy mattress in a pile in the corner.
Bathroom was so unclean I left without shower even though I was covered in bed bug bites from one night.
Avoid at all cost
