Just crap

1st at one in the night they had a party from the next room and they didn't let us sleep... 2nd there is no soundproofing and everything can be heard from the next rooms 3rd there is no air conditioning for hot or cold... 4th his behavior staff unacceptable gentleman who works there... And 5th he didn't have hot water to take a shower even though they knew we were going in the afternoon... Oh and the beds creak as if they have caught moisture and are ready to break

Basic hotel

Stayed for one night while visiting Athens. Handy to get the train into Central Athens, about 10 minutes walk to Kafissia Station (uphill most of the way). Rooms very basic but clean. Air con in the rooms which was a bonus. Staff weren't very welcoming or friendly so glad it was just the one night. Wouldn't go back.

Very bad service

I am not a fan of leaving bad reviews, so let's start with the positive:
The rooms are clean and for the price well equipped. The price of 45€ a night is alright although we had way better for less.
Now let's talk about the negative:
I was shocked by the way the lady at the reception treated us. It was like we were a burden rather than guests. Not one single smile all our stay long, no 'welcome' no sign of hospitality.
Still this wouldn't make me write a bad review in Trip Advisor.
But the day we were supposed to check out from the hotel we saw her at about 9 am, when we told her we wanted to check out a little later as we wanted to visit a friend in the Hospital she said 'but no later that 12 or you will pay' when I asked her how much it would be to keep the room for longer she replied in a very harsh tone 'what do I know? Half price?'
When we finally checked out at 12h45 as we couldn't make it home earlier from the hospital, she literally yelled at us for being late!
We work in the tourism branch as well and we know that this is no way to treat your customers if you want to keep them or want to have anything like a good reputation.

Good, clean inexpensive stay

I rated this hotel a 3 because it isn't luxurious but it is a decent hotel at a great price. It is a 15 min walk to the train station and the train will take you all the way to Monistraki to Plaka and the Acropolis. There is a food market across the street which was very convenient and the room did have a small refrigerator. Only drawback is an English speaking person is not always available at the front desk. But still, Would definitely stay there again.
