All staff very friendly and polite.

Our check in quickly when we arrived in the evening from Izmir. The girl at the reception welcomed us with great joy. We were given a very comfortable and large room with wonderful view of the city. He also had a vision of the church of St. Constantine. In our room, upon arrival we had a large bottle of water, sweets as well as ouzo bottle for us. We liked the area very much as it was very close to the Metro and it was safe. The staff of the reception are true professionals, courteous and willing to help you in whatever they are asked. The breakfast is rich and with a great variety. Restaurant staff kind. The room service did an amazing job and the waitresses were polite. The common areas are very clean. The wifi was working perfectly and the hotel's decoration nice. Room 402.

Insecurity in the area and bad hotel

Upon our arrival in the area, we were “attacked” by a homeless person trying to take a Fanta from us; as we approached the hotel's vicinity, we encountered drug addicts shooting up and smoking right at the door. As for the hotel, I can only rate the room, which was quite neglected in terms of both the furniture and the cleanliness; we found quite a few hairs on the bathroom walls, and the Wi-Fi didn't work either. Seeing this situation, we decided to leave the hotel as soon as possible.

Decadent hotel with neglected rooms

Decadent hotel, with neglected rooms. Breakfast was average, sometimes the dishes were cold. The best part was the kindness of the receptionists and the location

5 stars for value for money! Excellent base for Athens

For the value for money, this hotel deserves an absolute 5 stars. The property is very convenient, easily accessible, and just a 4-minute walk from the subway station. The rooms are clean and the staff is exceptional, all very kind and super helpful. Honorable mention for breakfast: abundant and truly fantastic!
I am making a necessary note about the area: in the adjacent square there is a bit of decay and the presence of drug addicts is noticeable. At first glance it might seem strange, but I want to clarify that they don't bother anyone, they mind their own business and don't even look at you. Furthermore, almost every evening there was a security patrol in the middle of the square, so we felt safe.
In summary: if you are looking for an excellent, clean, and super affordable strategic base, it is highly recommended. If, on the other hand, you are the type of traveler who is very picky about everything or who gets scared by the urban context, perhaps it is better to look elsewhere. We had a great time!
