The staff were very helpful. Good for one night but yes the street is sketchy!! And smells like piss! Then migrants and druggies passing by. I would not stay there again. Close to the metro but not worth going out at night.

It was near Omonia Square and excellent restaurants - Veniti was particularly brilliant.

Well hotel, but definitely borderline area

Normal hotel, clean, very close to the metro. The staff was very friendly.
We were 3 women, no one bothered us, but the area is definitely particular, there is drug dealing both day and night, high people wandering the street. Dirty neighborhood, full of pigeons. You can see why the prices are modest. To make you understand one evening we found a lady smoking "non-legal substances" on the stairs near the hotel.
A few minutes by metro from the center.

My choice for holidays in Athens

When I go to Athens, 4 times in the last few years, I lean on this small and budget hotel conveniently located near Omonia Square.
Always positive my experience for both cleanliness and courtesy.
