This is a great location in Plaka, as you can walk from the apartment to Acropolis in about 17-19 minutes. Not too bad if you want to avoid paying Uber all the time. There is also a grocery store 3 min walking distance, so you can buy all you need if you are staying for a few days. The studio actually has 2 rooms (we were 2 kids and 2 adults and the confirmation letter stated 1 room so we were confused), and the place has air conditioning, and a kitchen/living area in between the rooms. We liked the convenience of walking and having the grocery store close, as well as other places like pizza/restaurants pretty close by. It's on the ground floor, so sometimes the building entry door can be heard during the night, but I'll take it given the other advantages. I would book it again if we ever went back.

NOT A BALCONY at best it was a patio but realistically it was a pit a 6 meter pit. It is a basement apartment which is fine but don’t expect a view. The unit was very small about 18 square meters 200 square feet. The kitchen was adequate and luckily I was able to google on how to use the stove or we would have had to eat only cold food. After one initial contact with owner/manager my messages were ignored. The best thing was the location it in an authentic Athenian neighborhood with a really convenient supermarket and some good local food. I would not stay there again.

The studio was great the neighborhood is very nice . And the host very helpful. It was a great experience overall

Pretty nice room. Main issues were door code not working initially (but was quickly resolved with a call), bed creaked A LOT (like even a light movement such as rolling over produced the loudest creak which woke me up a bit). I wouldn’t call it a “balcony” as much as a terrace. It’s a lower level apartment so not a balcony. The paint in the bathroom ceiling was peeling and the hot water in the shower would vanish occasionally. Also- there wasn’t a thicker blanket provided so I had to search the cabinets to find one as it was chilly.
