Splendid stay
We stayed in 75 steps apartment for 10 nights and absolutely loved it. It is simple family run apartment with all necessities and more...a fantastic view of mountains and sea. Room was spacious, bed was big and comfortable (on the harder side as we love), balcony and the view was above and beyond expectation. There is also a tiny kitchenette in the room, with a fridge and 2 stove cooker, toaster and all necessities to use it. Bathroom is spacious, although shower cabin could do with a change as it's quite small.
Location is great, a little bit up the mountain in a small quiet village 1km away from busy touristic mesonghi. We had a car so had a luxury of being able to travel to Sandy beach rather than pebbled, but apartment location is good for driving around corfu.
Taverna upstairs has been great, food delicious although not cheap, but it's experience that counts.
Tassos (the owner) has been very kind although very busy running it all - Taverna and apartments.
Overall - great value for money, we loved it and we are looking forward to coming back soon.

Lovely hosts, beautiful view, clean and complete rooms
This is a review for the apartments; the review for the attached restaurant is separate. We spontaneously decided to vacation on Corfu. Since it was still high season, we had very little choice: the good hotels were either booked out or incredibly expensive. We were very surprised to get an offer for 50 Euro per night for a room at 75 Steps. How could it be that you get a room that is so cheap and is good at the same time? Beggars can't be choosers and so we booked. The rooms are super clean (Valentina comes every second day and does a great job), they have a little kitchen that is well equipped with tableware, pots and pans, a toaster and a cafetiere (we bought Starbucks coffee in Corfu Town and had a perfect brew every morning). The bathroom is very small (the shower is super small) but also very clean. The towels are white and soft and get replaced every second day. The rooms have AC and it works well. The view is amazing and our neighbours had breakfast on their balcony every morning. You can also get breakfast (not included) in the restaurant. The apartments are very quiet because they are perched on a hill up the road from Messonghi beach. For us the location of 75 Steps was perfect: it is about 20 minutes from Corfu town and the airport, and Messonghi itself is in a part of Corfu (on the south east coast of the island) which is much better connected than others parts of the island. If you're not one of the tourists who plans on going for an all-inclusive hotel deal, and spending your entire vacation on one beach, 75 steps is a great home base from which to take off everyday with a rental car, and explore the various beaches the island has to offer. Mopeds and beach buggies are also rented out on practically every corner, but are dangerous given the underdeveloped state of most of the island's roads and the "adventurous" nature of Greek driving. Our favourite getaways included the many little, less frequented coves down the hill from Pentati (although some required a bit of a walk to get to as one cannot drive down to them). For slow days, the pebbled terrace and pier that belongs to Savvas Taverna close to Notos was another favourite (the food at Savvas is also pretty good). From among the bigger beaches, Agios Gordios was good for snorkeling along the rocks on the left side of the beach, and Paleokastritsa was one of the most scenic areas/beaches. Agios Georgios down across the bay from Porto Timonei also looked gorgeous and came highly recommended, although we decided to hike down to the infamous Porto Timonei instead (worth the views, not as spectacular as otherwise marketed swimming/beach-wise). In summary, if you want a simple and clean, no-frills room with a fantastic view, warm, welcoming hosts, and a great dinner to come back to after a long day of Corfu exploration, 75 Steps is incredible value for money and the right place to be!

Excellent place to stay in Messongi. Quiet, beautiful view.
Not really in the center but on the hill, the hotel provides a quiet place to stay with an outstanding view over the sea, shore and hills, with kilometers visibility. The building is in a good condition and offers an elevator for the ones with sensible phisical condition. However, there are about 20 steps to reach the elevator. There is no parking in the front of the hotel, which is quite usual in Corfu. However, there is plenty of parking space about 50-80 meters downhill. Rooms are large, with average furniture. WiFi was poor, with frequent disconnecting and low speed, so be aware. Breakfast is served on the terace at the upper level, with spectacular view over Corfu island. There are many bees which some may find unconvenient. They are not aggresive though. Food is good. Getting to the beach should be done by car. Bathroom is relativelly small and average equipped. Shower needed maintenance.
Breakfast should have some more variation, especially for people staying for longer time. A bit far from the beach, you have to drive down there.

Loved the view
For some reason there are two 75 steps hotels , so I am not sure if this is the correct one.
The review is for the hotel below the restaurant with the same name.
We booked a double room and were given a triple room with kitchenette. The view from the balcony was amazing. I loved that whole feeling of lots of air, and space, and sea. The room is very clean. The bathroom is also big and modern, compared to the facilities at most paces.
We had breakfast too. Breakfast is served in the restaurant . The restaurant itself is a beautiful terrace , again with that view that you can not get enough of, and is beautifully decorated with flowers.
(Naturally , the flowers attract bees, it is just a warning for people who are allergic. )
The breakfast is served, not a buffet. It consists of some cheese , ham, eggs, tea, coffee, juice, etc. The best part is the yogurt which you can top with the ( home made? ) honey. We actually skipped breakfast a few times in order to try the delicious stuff from the local bakeries.
Unfortunately , we could not try the dinner food in the restaurant, because we were usually coming to the hotel very late at night.
There might be 75 steps all together, but to get to the elevator you claim 31 steps , or the equivalent of going from a ground floor to the first floor of a building, and then another half a floor. Not too bad, but if you have heavy luggage, you might need help. You can park in front of the hotel, but it is a narrow street and not enough space. There is a big ( free) parking lot about 50-100 meters down the road. The beach itself might not be far, but we drove, because we liked other beaches more.
The staff was helpful and polite. I would recommend the hotel.

Fantastic views wonderfull food and really good rooms what more do you need
We booked for 4 nights and ended up staying for 10. The restaurant had great food the
Rooms are good and we really enjoyed are stay it's a jem The hotel is 1/4 mile up a steep road so so a car is very handy and there are some brilliant sights to see Corfu town by night is a must to see.
