Excellent experience
We are staying here as the first stop on our island hop before we go on to smaller quieter islands and I didn’t know what to expect but I have been more than pleased with choosing this hotel. It has a great location overlooking the marina, minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the shops, bars, tavernas etc but it still feels quiet. We booked a third floor room and it is absolutely lovely with views to die for and the comfiest sun loungers I’ve ever sat on. The staff have all been lovely. The room has every amenity you could ask for and great WiFi signal. We got a note to go and see the manager - I honestly thought we’d done something wrong but he simply wanted a chat about our experience of the hotel. This gave a great impression, so Elias thank you for that. We had breakfast out in town and didn’t use the pool just out of choice rather than any other reason.
The next time we island hop round the Dodecanese I will definitely use this hotel again if we fly into Kos.

Loved it
Lovely hotel in the best location, thanks for a great stay. Read a few bad reviews before we went and was pleasantly surprised, the hotel is lovely. If you want 5 star then pay the prices. We emailed the hotel and they got straight back to us and were wonderful, thank you. Pool is the perfect temperature, not too cold. In short, we loved it

Great hotel in the middle of Kos Town
Fabulous location, views and staff.
Stayed for 5 days early May 2026.
Booked twin room was given 2 roomed apartment with kitchenette area and dining room/ living area which had been made up into 2 further beds.
The rooms had everything you would need. We had 2 balcony’s overlooking G Averof st. With a lovely side view of the harbour and overlooked the ferry port.
Although city centre we found the hotel quiet at night with only a little street noise. No noise from other hotel guests. It was mainly adults at the hotel, groups and some couples plus solos. There was a very warm and friendly atmosphere
The hotel pool and sunbathing areas on the roof was great although I didn’t swim in the pool as the temperature wasn’t warm enough.
All the staff were friendly especially Kosta on reception who went out of his way to be helpful despite being very busy.
We had breakfast at the hotel one day during the stay. It was a plentiful selection of hot and cold food sweet and savour with local plus international offerings.
The bar and terrace are very special areas for a drink any time of day. Take in the views watch the world go by.
All in all a great holiday and will definitely be back to Kosta Palace.

The hotel is in close proximity of the city center which is very loudy. The sound of music and people make you uncomfortable if you are seeking a peaceful place. But the staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. The hotel is old and shiuld be renewed. A mix of guests from different cultures, mostly Turkish origin. Overall, nice experience but no slleep enough😉
