Wonderful stay in Kos: Impeccably clean and warm hospitality! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We are currently staying at the Theonia Hotel (from June 4th to the 12th) and we couldn't be happier with our choice!
The highlights of this property are many, starting with its strategic location. The hotel is in a super convenient area, just a short walk from both the center of Kos Town and the port, making it incredibly easy to get around on foot.
The welcome was fantastic: the lady running the place is wonderfully kind, always extremely helpful and warm, making you feel right at home.
Special praise goes to the cleanliness, which is absolutely spotless throughout the entire hotel:
The rooms: They aren’t huge, but they are very well-maintained, functional, and, as mentioned, perfectly clean. A big plus is the balcony, which is super handy for drying towels and swimwear after a day at the beach.
The bathroom: Also sparkling clean, featuring a comfortable and well-kept shower.
They also offer a complimentary breakfast. It might be a simple spread, but it’s a free breakfast that definitely does the job, served in a lovely, tidy, and clean environment.
In short: a simple, lovely hotel where cleanliness is king and hospitality is genuine. If you are looking for the perfect base to explore Kos, at a great price and with excellent treatment, Theonia Hotel is the ideal choice. Highly recommended!

I definitely do not recommend this hotel. It is simply not worth the money. There are many better alternatives in the sa
The location is convenient and close to the beaches, but this is hardly an advantage unique to this hotel, as there are plenty of hotels in similar locations. The breakfast is also nothing special and is comparable to what you would expect from an average hotel on the island.
Unfortunately, our experience with the hotel staff was quite disappointing from the moment we arrived. The gentleman at the daytime reception, a blond man wearing glasses, was incredibly rude and unhelpful.
Although we had selected a room with one double bed when making our reservation, we were given a room with two separate single beds. When we told him that this was not what we had booked or wanted, he simply told us that all rooms in the hotel were like this. This was clearly misleading, as the booking information had indicated otherwise.
The beds themselves were extremely uncomfortable and very low. I honestly cannot remember the last time I slept in a bed this uncomfortable. They are simply not suitable for adults.
The room looked clean at first glance, but there were hairs in the bathroom and on the beds. When we opened the wardrobes, we also found insects inside.
Another very strange policy was that guests are required to leave their room key at reception every time they leave the hotel. I have never encountered such a practice before. When we questioned it, the receptionist responded in a dismissive and rather condescending manner, even implying that we might lose the key and then giving us an attitude.
The internet connection was also extremely poor. It essentially worked as a hotspot, and we had to enter the password repeatedly.
Overall, the hotel may have a convenient location, but the poor service, uncomfortable beds, cleanliness issues, unreliable internet and especially the attitude of the reception staff made our stay very disappointing. For the price, there are many better options available nearby. I would not stay here again.

Good value for money
This hotel is directly adjacent to the city centre. The ladies at the reception are super friendly. The personal treatment is nice, especially if you travel alone.
The rooms and sanitary facilities are simple and tidy.
A pretty hard bed and a small but nice shower.
The breakfast buffet is simple.
Value for money is fine so if you are not looking for too much luxury, feel free to choose this hotel.
For air conditioning you pay 5 euros per day.
The only downside is the weak WiFi signal.

So unfriendly!!!!!
Dirty toilet in the reception. The lady behind the desk was very unfriendly in front of a otter guest to us. At the end she had a rol as bartender she is the opposit of the friendly People we meet here on Kos.
