This is horrible hotel

Terrible hotel – unsafe and dirty!
My friend and I could only stay here for two days, even though we booked for seven!
The balcony door doesn’t lock, which is extremely dangerous because the partitions are low and can be easily climbed over.
It’s extremely noisy – sleeping is impossible!
You can only buy food from the shop on the premises. If you bring anything from another store, you’ll have to pay a fine – and this is not mentioned in the Booking.com information.
The place is filthy and stinks – staying there is unbearable!
The air conditioner is paid, but when we purchased it, it not only failed to cool – it didn’t work at all.
When we arrived, we haven’t even toilet paper in WC!
Beach is very far, about 1,5 km!
I do not recommend this place to anyone – it’s better to pay extra and live like a human being!

Not a budget hotel - just plain terrible

So many hidden costs. Firstly you can’t bring food in, cant bring drinks in and if you want to bring people back it costs 50 euros. All food and drinks must be bought from the overpriced hotel shop and restaurant. We had bed bugs and the owners didn’t change our sheets. They consistently yell and are agressive. The pipes flood the lower balconies. This is not a budget hotel due to all the fees they’ll make you pay for.

Thieves and mould

Went on a workers holiday from May-August, staying at Aphrodite hotel.
Bad experience from the start…
Had my £300 speaker stolen on the first day, hoodie, trousers and €60 (by the cleaners).
I raised the issue and was quickly disregarded, as the owners do not care.
The cleaners do not clean. They sweep the floors and leave all the mould behind.
The hotel owner, Nikos, is so rude and would constantly raise his voice - making people feel so unwelcome.
Finally, they kicked us out the hotel and kept our bags hostage.
We had to call the police to get this resolved.
The only good thing about Aphrodite is Dimitris, the bar man.
I do not recommend this hotel at all - book at your own risk.

Avoid this hotel if you value fairness, transparency, or basic human decency

I was wrongfully evicted from Aphrodite Hotel based on false allegations, without investigation or any opportunity to defend myself. Management never spoke to me directly—everything was relayed through a third party, leaving me silenced and misrepresented.
Ironically, the accusations came from individuals who had previously made unwanted and inappropriate comments toward me—comments I firmly rejected. Despite being the one harassed, I was treated as the problem.
The day before the eviction, while recovering from heat stroke and foot burns (both medically documented), I was threatened with immediate removal unless I paid €90 within the hour for a mess in a communal area I had nothing to do with. I was not even present at the time it occurred. No evidence was shown, no explanation offered—just pay or get out. This was blatant financial coercion at a time when I was physically unwell and incredibly vulnerable.
After being evicted, I was left without support, accommodation, or care, despite my condition. Repeated requests for CCTV footage—which would clear my name—have been ignored. Several of my belongings had went missing after my room being “cleaned” which majority of the time only involved a dirty mop being swept across the floor and I was also left without bedding for over a week due to having a period which I was also fined for. Your not allowed to bring in any food or drink purchased outside of the hotel and specific staff made comments towards me which were inappropriate and extremely unprofessional. There is a charge of €10 per day for air con which only blows out hot air anyways.
I am now taking legal action and will be reporting this hotel to the relevant authorities.
Unethical, unprofessional, and dangerous. Stay elsewhere.

mediocre, a little disappointing

as soon as we arrived in the room we found the room all dirty, the floor full of dust and the sheets and towels dirty of I do not know what .. in the bathroom smelled of I do not know what .. the only positive thing was the very kind and polite staff who made themselves available immediately after the lights in the room did not work anymore .. the sheets and towels were changed only after 4 days from our stay at the hotel, ashtray for 8 days was never emptied .. hotel full of English people screaming and making a mess until 4-5 am .. I would not recommend it however for a good price you can do by ..
