Incredible weeks stay
We stayed in villa madouri for a week and it was incredible.
It was perfect for myself, my husband and 2 young daughters age 8 & 4.
The villa was spotless everyday , the pool was cleaned daily and the views …. WOW! We have stayed in many places and it will take something special to beat those views.
The villas are in a little village about 20 minute drive down to Nydri where you can find everything you need. My husband liked shopping at the meat and fish markets and using the bbq at the villa. You definitely need a car and to be a confident driver to drive up the roads to the villa … very steep but you won’t regret it once you get to the villas.
I would recommend driving to Kayra I think it’s called , a gorgeous little village about 15 minutes drive in the mountains and has a beautiful square with traditional tavernas . We found our favourite one and ate out there twice called Eleni …. but lots of choice. There is also a lovely taverna named Maria’s in egoulvi I think it’s called again about 10/15 minutes drive from the villa … very traditional.
I would 100% recommend lefkada paddle board cruises . It’s a great day out , really relaxed my girls loved it and it’s definitely worth the money.

Amazing views from this peaceful and relaxing villa
We spent a week in the madouri villa . We really enjoyed our stay with the villa and pool cleaned everyday and towels and bedding changed regularly. A bit out of the way with lots of hair pin and narrow roads to navigate ( especially when delayed and ended up driving in the dark)
Plenty of places to eat in Nidri. Lots of boat trips can be had from the harbour. Lots of souvenir shops in town. The views really made this villa and being one of four you have a lot of privacy so feels like you are on your own. The only thing that we found that could be changed was that the outside chairs needed replacing as a bit dodgy to sit on and the sun lounger cushions could be changed as stained with sun cream but with your pool towel over them you don’t see it . But apart from those very small changes the rest of the villa was great! Would highly recommend.

Amazing hideaway
We just got back yesterday from staying at the 'Sparti' Villa (at least that was the name of our WiFi) which was suitable for a couple and 2 children (one main bedroom and upstairs mezzanine with two single beds. Although mezzanine stairs very steap so not great for small kids or elders.
The villa is about 20 mins outside of nidri up some winding roads but our phone sat nav took us straight there with no issues. I would recommened shopping in either nidri or the large Lidl in lefkada on your way.
Nidri has smaller supermarkets on the main 'strip'.
We only saw our cleaner (Yota or Jota sorry if not spelled correctly) who sorted us out with tea and biscuits when we arrived. She was lovely. 10 out of 10 for her. Very helpful. She arranged what time she came in advance. She came everyday but most days we just opted for bins to be emptied.
Car is a must. Walking to town not an option, trust me on that!
If you want somewhere to party this isn't the place for you. However if you want a nice quiet idyllic getaway with frankly some of the nicest views I have ever seen then I highly recommend.
Pool was great and surprisingly deep at the 'patio' end so perhaps not ideal for small children. Pool cleaned early each day and there is a net available for fishing out the odd critter which inevitably lands in.
We loved our two week stay and it was exactly what we needed. Not a smart TV so if that's your thing take a tablet. WiFi was solid and fine for streaming etc. decent cooker and good size fridge freezer. Although kitchen was quite basic with no microwave we had no concerns.
Our only slight complaint is that beds were very hard. But that's a preference thing so not really a criticism. Air con worked a treat so it was nice to be cool at night as weather was hot hot hot every day.
We tend not to go to same place twice so we likely won't return (it's a big world with lots to see) but wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you are after a breathtakingly beautiful quiet relax for a week or two.
Be mindful of seeing a few critters such as grasshoppers etc this place is right in the middle of nowhere so you will see them.

Stunning location
Lovely villa up in the mountains so be prepared for a winding road but the views are so worth it! Waking up to the sun rising over the Ionion islands was just the relaxation that we needed after the chaos of the last few months. Clean villa that changed our towels and cleaned during our one week stay. Great little traditional Greek Taverna a few minutes walk down the hill so you can work off the meal on the way back up!

Magnificent views and comfortable relaxing accommodation
We spent two weeks here with family and friends. The villa was comfortable and clean. The pool are relaxing with amazing views of the sea!
There is a tavern located in walking distance that provide excellent food and service. Otherwise a car is necessary to enjoy your surroundings in a comfortable way. This location is otherwise great to explore the whole island and it’s beautiful views and beaches.
Only suggestion for improvement would be to provide the cleaning service more frequently and change towels more often.
Staff is very helpful!
