Great support for the excursion!

The excursion to An Macedonia - Thrace with a visit to Komotini, Thasos, Alexandroupolis (Easter 2026) ends with very good impressions mainly thanks to the support we had from our Chief-Synod Ms. Olga, her knowledge that she tirelessly shared with us, her constant attention to the needs of the travellers.
Despite the hotel’s shortcomings in basic amenities (completely amateur hospitality at 3* Kyridis / Komotini), the final picture of the tour is preserved thanks to the competent, polite Session. Many among us said they would ride again with pleasure with Laplaya and Mrs. Olga!

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUDE, RACIST MANAGER/OWNER. Said we cannot talk or interact with hotel guests.

Yelling at guests

These reviews must be fake.
The place is terrible. Sheets and towels are stained, drains stink massively. Warm water is rarely. Dirty dishes and safety concerns around the pool.
I got yelled at (pregnant and in front of my son) for asking to fix our bathroom door.
Never would recommend this place! I was afraid of the guy!!

The hotel delivered what made us choose it: location right in front of the beach, pool, nearby a broad offer of restaurants and other commodities. We were also positively impress by the service minded personnel. However, the cleaning was poor. The floor was often full of sand and dust were never cleaned from the surfaces.

It was lovely there. I'm giving a big 8 for it here.

We just got back from la playa beach. We had a wonderful time there. Apartment was clean, bathroom was fine by Greek standards, clean towels etc. good Air conditioning cost €10.- per night but that is a choice. Wifi everywhere perfect and kitchen utensils minimal but you don't need more there either. The food and drink perfect. The owner / staff very sometimes a bit shabby but we also sometimes.? Bag of chips, a beer or wine on the house. Nice, right? They are very nice and lovely people and do everything to make it to your liking but you should not be difficult yourself. Pool was lovely and the sea a bit rough but at the end of August you can expect that too. Also located on the north side of the island, hence. We definitely want to go back there sometime.
