Excellent sunbeds and cocktails!

We visited for the day to use the sun loungers on the beach.
Sun loungers were €12 for two plus parasol. Great quality loungers and luxurious thick and comfy mattresses.
Quiet side of Malia beach and great spot.
Had the best strawberry daiquiris we’ve had,the other cocktails were good too! The owners gave us some free crisps,I think it’s because we spent quite a few euros on cocktails
A little bit of quiet music would enhance it though in our opinion.
We had a great afternoon down at the beach.

Yelling at guests

These reviews must be fake.
The place is terrible. Sheets and towels are stained, drains stink massively. Warm water is rarely. Dirty dishes and safety concerns around the pool.
I got yelled at (pregnant and in front of my son) for asking to fix our bathroom door.
Never would recommend this place! I was afraid of the guy!!

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUDE, RACIST MANAGER/OWNER. Said we cannot talk or interact with hotel guests.

Great support for the excursion!

The excursion to An Macedonia - Thrace with a visit to Komotini, Thasos, Alexandroupolis (Easter 2026) ends with very good impressions mainly thanks to the support we had from our Chief-Synod Ms. Olga, her knowledge that she tirelessly shared with us, her constant attention to the needs of the travellers.
Despite the hotel’s shortcomings in basic amenities (completely amateur hospitality at 3* Kyridis / Komotini), the final picture of the tour is preserved thanks to the competent, polite Session. Many among us said they would ride again with pleasure with Laplaya and Mrs. Olga!

The hotel delivered what made us choose it: location right in front of the beach, pool, nearby a broad offer of restaurants and other commodities. We were also positively impress by the service minded personnel. However, the cleaning was poor. The floor was often full of sand and dust were never cleaned from the surfaces.
