A Great Choice
We've just spent 3 nights in this 2/3 star hotel, in room 222, which is on the back side of the hotel, with lovely views to the mountains, quiet and cooler. We've loved our stay here, the owners are lovely and have been here since it opened. Fellow guests, mainly Dutch and German are delightful and very friendly. Our room is ideal, with a very comfortable king size bed, small balcony and good bathroom, with a very good shower. Breakfast was included and reasonable, but could have done with more choice, but for what we're paying, we really can't fault it. The surrounds and the pool area are beautiful, great, large, pool and lots of space. Mirtos is lovely, the nicest place we've stayed at in Crete. It's fairly quiet, currently and we really should have stayed here longer, maybe 5 days. We'd definitely recommend the hotel and the village.

Grand hotel, 500 meters from the pretty beach of Mirtos
The person in charge speaks French very well, very nice.

Overall I should put 4 max, because simple, rustic hotel, which deserves
to be renovated. However it is well held, clean pdj ok, etc....
There is still one thing a bit embarrassing, I think the owner knew a wayadier that made him a good price, because we find a big crepis
outside, inside, in the rooms and even on the ceiling. Not very nice.
However, I rate 5, because I really got my money's worth, and it might be

We asked for a quiet room and even though the hotel didn't reply, we were put in very quiet room. The only thing I would change would be to have a mattress protector under the sheet and a bigger top sheet and blanket as it was a bit small. The room was immaculate.

Great 2-star hotel
For a 2-star hotel, this place does a surprisingly good job. Don't expect golden taps or a minibar full of exotic drinks, but what you get is decent, clean and friendly — and that's a lot.
The room was neat and fresh, with beds that don't let you fight for a comfortable posture. The shower? Let's just say, cozy. If you have a normal build, you feel like an origami version of yourself for a moment, but the water was warm and the jet powerful.
Breakfast was simple but fine — no culinary delights, but enough to get your day off to a good start. The buffet in the evening? Basic, but fine to do. No star chef in the kitchen, but you certainly don't go to bed hungry.
The location is great: within walking distance of the beach and promenade, ideal for an evening walk or spontaneous swim. And the staff? Just nice, helpful and relaxed.
We stayed here for two nights and based on what was promised — 2 stars — this hotel deserves a big 4 stars on the scale of “more than expected”. In short: no frills, but nice vibes.

Excellent Price quality ratio
Hotel located by the road, close to the sea.
The room and breakfast are very suitable for the price quoted.
It has a large enough swimming pool.
