Unforgettable family holidays in Elea Houses, Molyvos Lesvos

Staying at Elea Houses in Molyvos, Lesvos, felt like home. We spent 15 days in a very convenient, nicely decorated and fully furnished apartment for 4 persons. The spacious flat was overlooking a garden with fig trees, olive trees and numerous other flowers. The location, just a few min far from the village of Molyvos, is ideal! Last but not least comes the hospitality of mrs Maria Grigorelli, owner of the Guest House. Maria, together with her two daughters, Ioanna and Zina did everything to make us feel at home and enjoy our holidays providing also site seeing information and gastronomy tips. We already miss them, their warm spirit and kindness, also miss our lovely holidays home. We highly recommend Elea Houses for your family holidays in unique Lesvos.

Excellent choice to stay

Nice and clean, comfortable rooms, great and quiet location. Close to beach and close to the centre of Molyvos. Very helpful and friendly owner, great price /value ratio. Definetly recommended! Thank you for the opportunity to stay there:-)

I love this place!

Elea Houses was the perfect place for our Lesbos holiday. It is close to Petra en Molyvos, close to wonderful Eftalou, and the atmosphere is superfriendly. Maria the owner is helpfull, friendly and sweet. She goes out of her way to make you feel at home. We went with our 2,5 year old daughter and rented the 2 bedroom appartment. It is spacious enough, the kitchen is really well equipped, there is a washing machine and a nice terrace. Swings nearby for the little one, and a wonderful garden to walk around in. You can use the pool at the neighouring hotel, it's a 2 minute walk. In 15 minutes you can walk to the nearest beach, and there are sheep, horses, donkeys and chicken on the way over there so fun for the kids to watch. It is not expensive at all. I will definitely go back there.

Hidden gem in Molyvos!

We just spent 10 wonderful days at Elea Houses!
The small apartment complex is immersed in a quiet olive grove a bit out of Molyvos, with a wonderful view of the town: watching the Castro lighted at night was amazing!
The Houses are 2.5 km far from beautiful Eftalou beach; for us was a very nice walk but it is also possible to go by bus. We also walked easily to Molyvos, and we were able to visit Petra, Anaxos, Skala Kallonis by bus (the bus stop is very close to the Houses), which made the trips more enjoyable than going by car, as we did not have to think of the road or worry about drinking too much ouzo!
The apartments are equipped to accommodate for 4 people, but I think they are better suited for a couple, as there is no storage space for the luggage and the only closet is in the bedroom.
Our only problem was having sometimes intermittent access to internet, or no internet at all, which forced us to walk to Molyvos to work in a café with wifi.
Maria, the owner, is extremely friendly, helpful and works tirelessly all day to keep the area spotless.
Finally, a nice surprise: guests at Elea Houses have free access to the swimming pool of nearby Eriphilli hotel! To reach it, simply take the path through the olive garden.

The perfect get a way

We spent a month at these superb apartments,Maria the owner could not do enough for us(she even invited us to her daughters wedding).Our apartment had two balconies so we could have shade all day long if required.The apartment was very roomy,the kitchen well equipped,if I had a grumble it was the bed was a little hard.We are well travelled on the less commercialised Greek islands and this property would certainly be one of those we would return too.
