Fabulous Greek hospitality in a stunning location

Wonderful Greek hospitality in a beautiful beachfront hotel!
We’ve just stayed for a night at The Olive Press Hotel. We’re holidaying in another resort on Lesvos and wanted to experience Molivos during the day and night, so this was the perfect venue for us.
We’ve found the team to be wonderful - nothing is too much trouble - and its beachfront location near the centre is simply stunning.
We deliberately chose a sea view balcony room and it was gorgeous. We found the beds were really comfortable too, so for us it was worth paying a premium for these rooms.
If you like to sunbathe, there’s plenty of sunbeds, which are literally a few steps from the sea.
It might be worth noting that there is no pool available for summer 26, but given its beachfront location, this wasn’t a problem for us…..would definitely recommend, especially the sea view balcony rooms!

Not much

We stayed here on the night of August 13th. We chose the hotel next to you because there are no availability. The building was old yet beautiful. I think it's been a beautiful restoration at least once, but that's it. The view from our room (208) was beautiful. I think it was the most scenic location because sometimes the waves were too strong and high, so it didn’t make sense to stay in beachfront rooms. It is not possible to open the window in those rooms. Rooms were generally old. His bathroom was seriously useless and old. Rooms should go through solid restoration. Breakfast was included in the price, it was satisfying, but you’ll need to have lunch earlier than usual because the options are limited. The pool side was really bad, we didn’t even use it. The space to enter the sea was narrow and limited. If you can, opt for the next-level hotel, but we didn’t have a ridiculous experience. One night may be preferred.

Worn hotel with good location.

Nice hotel viewed from the outside, and with a great location. Nice close to town and restaurants.
BUT the rooms (we had 2 different after complaint on the first), are incredibly worn and not at all kept. Poor beds, poor sanitation and holes in carpets. Much below the expected standard.
But friendly staff and okay breakfast.

So good we're going back

We loved this hotel so much, we are going back this year. Excited to see the renovations, but regardless of these, the location of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff were what made our holiday. Perfect to be able to lie just metres from a large pool and metres from the sea, with waiter service for drinks and snacks and stunning sunset views.

Great location- few tweeks it could be 5 star

Jet2 holiday. But worried about reviews.
I shouldn’t have been.
If you want a laid back Greek holiday in an amazing location- this is it.
Not 5 star, but you are literally on the sea and 5 mins walk to shops, bars, restaurants
Our room had a balcony over the sea. Book this if you can.
Breakfast was fine- didn’t vary any day- but you sit right by the sea.
Room- good air con and WiFi. But our bathroom was one, but clean. So who cares?
Pool area and garden in front of sea. Just wow. They have refurbished this over season with new beds. Man going round tidying all day.
They could make hotel 5 star easily- upgrade bathrooms, make the man serving pool drinks from bar more visibie( he was sometimes hard to find) and cut back on non residents using pool and not buying any drinks etc.
Sea right outside garden area big rocky so go to town side- easier to get in, wear shoes on water

Excellent location
