special place in a magic island

we went there with our one year baby. It was the perfect solution!! Everybody were so kind and helpful. what can I say, animals, breakfast, view. So many reason to go there!!
Hope to go back as soon as possible. 10 minutes from the main street, near the sea and a special ouzerie, but in a quiet place. Very special!

Stayed at Alkionides in the last week of July 2015 with my wife and daughter. The room was simple but comfortable, and the veranda was absolutely stunning with a view of Kato Koufonisi! Cleanliness was impeccable.
Breakfast every morning in the common area was so relaxing, a "study" in small Cyclades life! Quiet, great view, fresh produce. The ladies working there were always smiling and polite and would bring the breakfast to the room upon request.
In terms of distance, when we booked we were a bit thoughtful because the rooms appeared to be a bit distant from the town. It turned out that the photos and map are deceiving, it was an easy stroll to get "down town".
Yiannis picked us up from the port and also dropped us there on the day of our departure. He would check on us almost every morning during breakfast to see if everything is ok and have some small talk.
We also enjoyed having dinner at his taverna-ouzeri, with fresh grilled fish, squid and octopus in a very picturesque location.
Overall, a very relaxing vacation, and Yiannis and Alkionides contributed to this.
We will definitely visit again.

Amazing ! :)

Been there for a week with my friend and it was completely amazing! The view from our room was breathtaking, the room itself was spacious beautiful and super clean! There was breakfast with omelette, tost, fruit salad with yogurt, bread and everything fresh! The staff was very helpful and kind and the owner did his best to help us have a good time! Plus it's quite cheap for what you are getting! Thank you Giannis and Angela! We will definitely see you again!
P.s. Ask for room number one to get this amazing sunset view! ;)

Beautiful studios, breakfast cooked to order

Went with my mum for a relaxing week on Koufonissi, which was exactly what we got. Studios are clean and spacious with a small terrace. They are cleaned and sheets changed every day. Breakfast is included - pretty much anything you like: eggs, omelettes, toast, greek yoghurt with fruit and honey, fresh orange juice, coffee, etc etc.
The town is a short walk away and many little coves for swimming were within walking distance. Giannis and Marietta were both very friendly and helpful, even when our plans changed and we unfortunately had to leave early.
Only downside was it was very windy when we were there, so being at the top of a hill made us quite exposed. However it also gave us great views!

Un paradiso!!!!!!!!

Siamo stati cinque notti in questa struttura...gli appartamenti sono dotati di tutto ciò che serve, sono ampi e luminosi, letti comodissimi, pulizia impeccabile. Mi è piaciuto tutto, ma le due cose più belle sono la vista dai terrazzini di ogni appartamento e la colazione. Il personale fantastico!!!! Ci tornerei subito, anche perchè l'isola è veramente un paradiso!!!!
