Good experience
The location of the property is really excellent, with a fairly large car park about 250 m away. The room looks good, very clean and tastefully furnished. The owner, Marianna, was truly wonderful! Absolutely recommended as a structure!

A Holiday to Treasure
We have just returned from a fantastic 14 day stay at AC Homes Christos. We had originally booked to stay here in 2020 but we were so disappointed when the pandemic intervened and we had to cancel.
This time our stay was perfect.
The unusually large 2 roomed apartment offered great space and we also had a lovely balcony over a really pretty and quiet little street. It has authentic charm.
We had every possible facility, including an electric cooker, a washing machine and air conditioning.
The location is perfect, being inside the old town and within comfortable walking distances from all of Rethymnon's magnificent attractions. Many of Rethymnon's finest restaurants are also a few minutes walk away.
The bed was very comfortable and the regular cleaning ensured the highest standards.
While the location and facilities were excellent, the real highlight of our holiday was the help and support always on offer from our lovely hostess, Marianna.
My wife and I are really looking forward to returning to AC Homes Christos again very soon.

Exceptional generosity
This may well be a unique review because my wife and I never got to stay at AC Homes Christos at all due to the Covid 19 pandemic crisis.
We booked 9 nights accommodation on a "no cancellation" basis, so we fully understood that the conditions applying to our booking left us totally vulnerable to losing 100% of our up-front payment, made months in advance.
Long before anybody was aware of the existence of Covid 19, we were impressed with the quality of communication from Marianna of AC Homes. Her friendliness and willingness to help with information were very reassuring indeed and we were so excited that we would be staying with her in Rethymnon.
When the news of the pandemic broke, and we had to cancel, Marianna offered us the option of a refund, despite the "no cancellation" conditions of our booking.
In keeping with her excellent communication from the outset, Marianna now informed us when she had made the refund transfer and also told us when to check with our bank to ensure it had safely arrived.
It is very easy to impress when everything is running smoothly, but the real test is to see how an accommodation owner performs in a crisis that threatens the very fundamentals of their trade.
That is why my wife and I both feel Marianna of AC Christos has distinguished herself, for her generosity and her communication.
We will certainly be staying at AC Homes as soon as everything returns to normal and we look forward to thanking Marianna in person then.

Charming studio in a great location in Rethymno
My husband and I stayed one night in AC homes and I loved this charming little studio home. The room had everything we needed: a comfortable bed, ac, kitchen, bathroom and tub and washer and drier. The studio was very clean and organized. Marianna and her daughter were very helpful and very welcoming, so far the most welcoming welcome we have had in Crete. The studio is located in the old town just two min walk from all the action. It was a perfect location in terms of distance. The only negative I have to say about the apartment is that during the night there was a lot of noise from mopeds traveling through the small street.
