Stayed for our wedding holiday!
Stayed in September 2025 for our wedding at Agreco Farms with family and friends (dates wouldn’t let me select September 2025 as when we stayed). Amazing hotel with everything you need. Rooms were well equipped and spacious and were very clean. All of our family and friends complimented this hotel and said how conveniently situated it was to everything, with a 15 minute stroll into the old town, 5 minutes to the beach with a supermarket next door.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. They arranged an ironing service for our wedding suits, somewhere locally, which was helpful and took the stress away on the day. They also decorated our room on our wedding night with Swans and rose petals which was a nice touch.
They also arranged taxis for us to places as and when was needed which was helpful.
I would stay at this hotel again and have already recommended this place to friends who have since stayed.

A surprise
We have visited this hotel in Rethymno for a first time with my wife. We founded very friendly with a very welcomed and warm staff. Rooms were spacious and clean, location was good 10 mins away from city center and close to a nice beach. The pool with a nice bar is a plus when you want to have a relaxing day. We will definitely visit again.

A ok hotel in Rethymnon
The hotel is OK. Cosy staff at reception and at breakfast. Cleaning was fine. The juice at breakfast was not good. Could have been larger selection at breakfast. Air conditioning was ok. A nice hotel, but lacks in my opinion "the little extra" that makes me want to stay at the hotel again.

Beware of overbooking problem
Overall a nice hotel with friendly staff.
Our experience was tainted by the fact that we booked a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms so that our 18 year old daughter could be with us but have her own space. I booked through last minute.com in January but emailed the hotel afterwards to confirm the booking, which they did.
We arrived after midnight and were taken to a 1 bedroom apartment, with only the night staff on duty there was nothing he could do. We went to reception the next morning and were told that no 2 bedroom apartments were available. We could stay where we were or get an additional studio room for my daughter 4 days later. We had no option but to accept the other room when it was available but that was almost a week in to our holiday.
We weren’t the only ones affected by this as we heard other people at reception complaining that they hadn’t been given the room that we booked.
The air con in the rooms was good once we figured it out, but often switched itself off in the night in the bedroom, which wasn’t great. There wasn’t a great deal of storage space/hangers and no drawers which was strange.
The location was fairly quiet and not much around at night so we got taxis to the centre every night.
Breakfast was ok for a small hotel. but the juice was terrible!

Loved it
We are on our last night here. The room and facilities are spotless. The bar and its food is really nice with big portions ( easily shareable)
We never didn't get a very comfortable lounger. Nitsa is so nice as is Katerina and Babis in the bar.
The clientele are lovely at this hotel
Loads of families and couples enjoying fabulous Crete.
We just loved Biskotto the pastry shop down the road and the souvlaki shop up the road. Tavernas we ate at were taverna tzizzis and Manolis. We loved the cardboard cut out of the main man!!
First time in Greece. Will not be our last
The hospitality afforded us everywhere is something irish restaurants and hotels need to adopt. Oh shout out to Popeyes watersports on the beach so nice So safe.
We all loved it and really our lovely base at Summerdream made it. Epharisto !!
