Lovely stay, cozy hotel, great sea view, and such a kind owner❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Melissani Hotel! The place is very nice and cozy, perfectly located close to the port. Our room was spotless and had a beautiful sea view from the balcony, which made our mornings extra special. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, she even gave us a thoughtful gift when we left. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sami. ❤️

Very nice stay

Very enjoyable stay at this basic but very clean hotel. Our plane was diverted to Athens as we had bad weather and couldn't land on Kefalonia initially so I texted the hotel and and got a response within minutes. Eleni, who runs the hotel, said no problem and she'd wait for me. Got to the the hotel at one in the morning instead of nine o'clock and was met with a smile and a welcome. Great location to walk into Sami for all it's bars and restaurants. Would stay again. Thanks Eleni.

Nice little hotel

Yes, you do have the feeling this little hotel had a splendid past; however, it is still a charming little hotel. Location is great, quite but walking distance from the centre and the lovely tavernas on the harbour. At the back there are trees. Rooms have everything you will need and more. It may look a bit tired, but rooms are superclean. The best is the terrace, amazing view during the day and the night. There are tables and sunchairs, do not miss it. The owner has been a great host. Recommended.

Pleasant and friendly stay at the Melissani Hotel in Sami

It was recommended to us by our friends who had been hosted two years ago.
A pleasant surprise awaited us when we arrived at the hotel and led us to the room.
Spacious, (you play ball, if I knew it before, I would bring my nieces too), clean, direct and friendly service, internet.
Outside, common areas, courtyard cozyly decorated.
Room with balcony and overlooking the whole bay.
Accurate and descriptive tips, to get to know the places that are not yet known to the general public
We will go back this year, to get to know this particular cultural corner of Greece.
