The Best!

We have just returned from our fourth visit to these glorious apartments.
As always, the welcome was genuine and warm, and you're instantly made to feel at home and completely at ease. This time, it was my birthday on the day we arrived, and unbeknown to me, Ellie and Nikos had kindly organised a surprise for my arrival. It was such a thoughtful and genuinely kind gesture that made the start of our holiday even more special. Then, towards the end of our stay, when I came down with a bad cold, they were there with medication and their usual kindness and care.
Normally, the thing I always rave about is the view, which is honestly the best on the island and a tonic for the soul. However, what really makes this place so special is the atmosphere and the wonderful hosts, Ellie and Nikos. They are always there when you need them, yet never intrusive, striking the perfect balance.
The reception area is bright, airy and beautifully furnished with plenty of comfortable seating. I also loved seeing Nikos' father's stunning paintings displayed throughout the space. Another lovely touch was the collection of vintage cameras, a wonderful homage to classic instant cameras like Polaroids, which added to the property's unique charm and character.
The apartments are perfectly located, spotlessly clean and wonderfully spacious. This place really is the hidden gem of the island, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found it.
Lots of delicious tavernas minutes away or a 10 minute walk to town. It honestly is the perfect place. If we're fortunate enough to return to the island next year, there is nowhere else I would want to stay.

Fantastic rooms with unbelievable views - peaceful and quiet

Had a fantastic 9 night stay mid May right from their opening day of 12 May. I stayed in an end twin room on the middle floor which was exactly what I wanted and it was perfect. Large spacious room, comfortable beds, great shower, full size fridge, kettle, mugs, plates, cutlery, washing up liquid, shower gel, soap, in fact everything you could need. Unusually there's an abundance of useful storage plus a safe should you want one. The whole place is spotlessly clean and it is cleaned every day. The views from the balcony are superb and the sound of the sea will lull you to sleep. Its at the quieter end of Megali Ammos beach which even in mid May I appreciated. 2 minutes walk to a supermarket and bus stop 5. Absolutely perfect. Nikos and Ellie are incredibly helpful and everyone is so warm and friendly. I loved staying here and would definately return.

Perfect location and wonderful hospitality

Aphrodite is in a great location, just a 15‑minute by bus from the center. The place is very clean and right in front of a beautiful, quiet, and relaxing beach. The owners are extremely kind and always available to provide any information to make your stay enjoyable. I truly recommend it.

Perfect location, hosts and apartments

Our second visit to Aphrodite, following a great trip last year we booked 25 nights this year. Stayed on the second floor this time, still had amazing sea views, great spotlessly clean room, our lovely cleaning ladies kept it pristine, thank you . Once again Nikos and Ellie were amazing hosts. Aphrodite is in an excellent location close to lots of local tavernas, restaurants and supermarket, a minutes walk to bus stop 5, and the bonus of direct access to the beach straight out of the garden gate . Aphrodite has everything you’d need for a relaxing holiday but close enough to walk to town . There’s nothing quite like listening to the waves and walking barefoot across the beach home after an evening out . Highly recommended. Looking forward to our next years visit .

Little piece of paradise

This is my 2nd stay at Aphrodite Studios & my 8th visit to Skiathos. It took my until my 7th trip to find and fall in love with the accomodation, location, service and hospitality. The view of Megali Ammos Bay is outstanding and the sunrise is picture perfect. I cant get enough of the sound of the waves lapping the shore directly below the balcony.
Falling asleep and waking up to that sound will forever be imprinted in my memory.
If you are looking for simplicity and authentic Greek traditional hospitality and welcoming hosts who have been exceptional to communicate with from booking the room to my departure then this is the place.
But please dont book for next September because my room wont be available & dont tell anybody else about this place. Ok, ok, I guess we have the share and let you all find out for yourselves
