1* hotel, 2* stay
Firstly, the owner is a delightful lady, so helpful, kind and always smiling, and was swift on my check in, as I'd encountered a flight delay.
My room was 205, and yes it was basic in some respects, but it had a TV, a safe, an AC unit, mirror, chair and a basic bathroom which flooded upon using the shower, and the drain stank. The balcony was small.
The walls seemed wafer thin and on the second night a rather abrupt and rude man 3 rooms from mine threatened to 'smash in' two women in the room next to mine if they didn't keep the noise down - they were talking, and not very loudly.
Breakfast was extremely basic - two slices of bread with butter and jam, coffee, juice and one boiled egg nothing else. I had to go out for breakfast for two of the three mornings I was there as it wasn't enough.
The room was cleaned, but not to a great standard, and only a sheet was available with no blanket provision, and the mattress for me was rock hard, although that might be fine for others.
The location is the winner, but the whole place could do with an overhaul, even small things like making the courtyard tidier, and adding some brighter lights into the sort of lounge area.

Great hospitality and excellent potential, but the property is in urgent need of significant attention.
I would like to thank the owner from the bottom of my heart for her extraordinary kindness, helpfulness, and warm welcome. The hotel's location is fantastic and very central.
Regrettably, however, I must point out that the hotel urgently needs maintenance work and a general refresh. The photos online show the property in a past state; today the rooms appear very dated and would require more thorough care, a renewal of the furnishings, and significantly more attention to cleanliness.
Even the garden, an environment that could be a beautiful strong point for having breakfast, currently appears unfortunately unkempt, abandoned, and not sufficiently clean.
It would be a real shame to see a place with so much potential fall into complete decay. I truly hope that this feedback is received as an affectionate and constructive piece of advice to take action as soon as possible and give this hotel the care it deserves.
