Quaint Hidden Gem

We are here now as I write this and weather is a lovely 22 most days but does drop at nighttime.
I always like to give honest reviews so here goes :-
Pros:-
Nice and Peaceful
Lovely Balcony inches from Pool
Stunning Mountain View’s
Close to Corfu walking Trail
Supermarket over road
Several restaurants within a 5 min walk
Bus stop to Corfu Town mins away .
Cons :-
Yet to walk to beach as so it’s not as nearby as we thought, going to catch bus to big beach later in week as apparently it’s 40 mins walk away.
TV very basic we been watching YouTube.
For us it’s more remote than we expected.
Corfu in general I find more expensive than other parts of Europe we have visited.
That said Katia is a good host if you want a basic studio in a quiet rural location away from the crowds.

A really relaxing place to really unwind

Katia Studios was just what we were looking for. It was away from the crowds but close enough to the places we wanted to see with useful transport links. The studios were spotlessly clean and Katia the host was always available and attentive. Katia was friendly and always happy to help with questions and advice. There are only six apartments so it is never crowded and you can always find a place around the pool after a day of sight seeing. If you are looking for a quiet well equipped place to really relax , you cannot beat Katia Studios in Paleokastritsa.

It was an all round amazing holiday with perfect rooms, the best staff I could ever want, a perfect area.

Ensure you have brought enough money for bottled water as most water in the area is salt, and do the events like Greek night and bingo because it will add to the nights of your holiday with a friendly experience for all ages.

A fabulous place to stay

On a recent trip to Corfu I spent a fortnight at Athina Studios where the room and the staff were wonderful. The room was basic but comfortable with a really well equipped kitchen. The owners and staff were always available, extremely helpful and very friendly. It was ideally situated close to Tavernas, beaches and the supermarket. I am extremely grateful to Athina Studios for making my holiday a memorable experience

Value for Money.

Stayed 9 nights. Room is relatively spacious. Comfortable double bed. Ground floor. Outside balcony. Great air con. Wifi reliable and strong. Plenty of well placed power outlets. Bathroom a little small but functional. Bus stop 300 metres away. Restaurants within short walking distance. Realistically if you hire a scooter this is a very good option to base yourself. Fridge, kettle etc etc.
