Palladio Portaria

Nice preserved complex of the 19th century.Traditional decoration in the villages and in the rooms without excesses.Delicious breakfast with fresh pites of the hostess.Beautiful courtyard and terrace to enjoy a coffee and a dive in the pool.In our time absolute value for money.here I will stay again in the pile.

No heating

When you entered the area, the bathroom smelled badly. Of the five rooms only in one had towels, to carry us and to the other rooms we asked 3 times and finally brought them in the evening.The worst was that they did not turn on the heating. In the rooms the temperature barely reached 18 degrees (then they turned off the heating and dropped to 16 degrees). Every 2-3 hours we were busy looking for the person in charge to do something with the burner that wasn’t working (even at 4 a.m., we were looking to turn on the heating to avoid freezing). You understand that in a mountainous destination and even in winter this is a big problem. The 1 star rating is given because there is no 0 (or even minus).

Be very careful

Let me make it clear that the hotel as a building is not bad. The village is very beautiful. Personal good. But the room we stayed in had no air conditioning, only a plastic fan and the heat was free. The windows were supposed to be open but they looked at the street where machinery and agriculture continued to pass until dawn. The garbage tank also passed dawn. It was a tragedy. If you want to go in the summer, make sure that the room you are booking has air conditioning and is not on the street or you will suffer. The pos they have is a little weird and did not work with our card yard which in other stores worked normally.

A little disappointing

We have been to Portaria a few times and we decided to visit again without the snow. We choice the Palladio because it was a 4 star close to the main square so we could get something to eat.
On arrival we noticed the hotel was very dark not much light. It had very steep garden steps to get to the rooms as i think there were 3 levels. The rooms were tiny with very little light even if you turn everything on. The shower was very tiny and hard for a normal person to get in. The bed was barely bigger than a single.
We had a very uncomfortable stay and what made it worse at 10pm they closed the main entrance downstairs and we has to climb up some steep stairs outside with no light.
As for the staff and the host they were very friendly & helpful and the hotel was clean. Just not functionable.

Its a one star hotel because all the services are fake.we had a baby with us and the hotel didnt have hot water for bath only at night and this for a little.small old tv and the excusion was the weather for that.not their own parking near the hotel .poor breakfast like 95%water and 5%french coffee and the orange juice the same.very bad situation
