Just brilliant - highly recommended

The Old Forge is an excellent place to stay and comes highly recommended. Breakfast was particularly enjoyable, offering a generous selection of cereals, jams, fresh bread, fruit, as well as tea and coffee It's obvious just how much thought has gone into this wonderful B&B.*
Top tip - use the short cut past The Stocks Hotel to shorten the walk to The Avenue
* I had room 1 which has it's own bathroom on the ground floor.

A country home

Amazing stay at the old forge on Sark Island.
From the beginning, the communication with the host was good, with some recommendations and advices before to even arrive.
Even though I arrived a bit late, he was available and showed me around.
Comfortable and stylish room, amazing views from the lounge and the kitchen.
Great self service breakfast with lots of options.
Very quiet area.
Definitely a charming stay

Fabulous

We arrived to a lovely warm welcome at the Hideaway , having been recommended the year before on our previous visit to Sark. We certainly weren’t disappointed , the roaring fire in the lounge was very inviting as was Jackie & her mum. The double room was lovely and airy and felt very spacious, the En Suite was a super size and had lots of lovely extras, dressing gowns, toiletries, to name a few. Jackie is definitely the hostess with the mostest as her breakfasts were super. We were treated to fresh croissants daily , Tony throughly enjoyed a full cooked breakfast every morning which he said was delicious. We would highly recommend the Hideaway to anyone visiting Sark. Thank you Jackie & Steve, not forgetting Albert for his endless cuddles ❤️

A wonderful place to stay!

WOW! This place is stunning! Everything about the Old Forge is amazing, from the setting to the breakfast. Our room had fabulous views from every window, the beds & pillows were really comfortable, & Caragh’s homemade bread for breakfast was delicious. Homemade chocolate is also onsite & too tempting to avoid. Highly recommend the Old Forge & the owners Simon & Caragh & their lovely staff.

Adorable One Night Stay

Unforgettable experience Thank you Caragh for your hospitality! Will recommend your lovely place to everyone and hopefully come back again.
A tip for travellers - make sure to watch the stars! We were able to see the Milky Way! And don’t forget to bring your own toiletries:)
