Decent Hotel for stay in Chikmagalur
The Hotel has their own parking - our car was safely parket inside the property and not on the road.

Nice Stay
The hotel has a hostel like look and the building looks old, but the rooms were renovated.
We stayed in Executive rooms. These are the best ones you can get there. The rooms were spacious, clean and had a balcony. The rooms were for 2 people,but they do allow extra person for some fee. The extra bed is just a simple mattress to be laid on floor. The rooms faced the roadside, but we got a good night's sleep since there was not much traffic in the night.
They provide you with basic toileteries and bottled water to drink. Wifi is free. Remember to ask the password at check - in. Parking space is limited. When we checked in during the day, parking was not an issue. But at night, the lot was full and parking got tricky. Their parking guy was helpful, but we had to leave the keys with the front desk if they needed to move our car, which they did!
The frontdesk staff was very nice and helpful. Room service was great! The AC in our room won't turn on and the staff was quick to fix it. They also happily catered to any of our other requests.
Few things could have been better. Pillows were very hard. Towels showed signs of wear and tear and were very rough. They should replace the towels and/or use a fabric softener. Bathrooms although clean, are not contemporary. The wait for hot water to shower felt like eternity.
Their breakfast hours are very tight! Just an hour, 7-8 am. We had to place the breakfast order, the previous night. The breakfast was served promptly at 7 am in spotless stainless steels vessels, in our rooms. Yes you read that right, they do bring it to your rooms if you request so. Both idli/wada and puri sagu were delicious and gave us the energy to start our day.
Overall a nice and a pleasant stay.
