. Description of the Incident
Upon arrival at the property on the scheduled check-in date, I faced the following issues:
Unreachable Contact Number: The contact number provided in the Agoda booking confirmation (++917996118999) was not working. I was unable to reach anyone at the property for guidance or assistance.
No Reception Staff: Upon reaching the premises, there was no one at the reception desk. I searched for staff to guide me to my room but could not find any representative of the hotel.
Abandoned Property: After waiting approximately 30 minutes, an individual arrived and informed me that there was an "emergency" and he needed to leave the premises. I was left without any assistance or proper check-in service.
Unhygienic Conditions: The room provided was in unacceptable condition. It had a very bad smell, cockroaches, and was generally unhygienic and uninhabitable.
This experience contradicts the 4+ star rating and "very good" ratings displayed on Agoda's platform -4. While some guests have reported positive experiences, there are also recent reviews describing the rooms as "not clean" and bedsheets "seemed never washed" -1. My experience confirms the existence of a significant gap between the ratings and the actual condition of the property. Trust of agoda platform is also lost
