Great place and oh so friendly staff

What a lovely and lovely place to stay. We were here two nights during our tour of South India.
We had a nice big room with stairs to a balcony with nice views.
The staff, all men are so friendly, helpful and interested.
The breakfast was delicious and also so well cared for. After our morning nature walk in the Periyar National Park we could still have breakfast and again top groomed.

Wonderful Wildernest

We absolutely loved our stay at Wildernest - it’s a beautiful setting with lovely rooms, warm friendly & welcoming staff, excellent food both at breakfast and lunch - it’s in a great location with everything on your doorstep,they also recommended Thekkady Holidays Inn who were excellent at arranging trips & taxis. We will remember our stay with fondness thank you

Pleasant stay, awesome hospitality

We had a great stay. Place is very near the Thekkady boating bus boarding point. The property is not huge, but got well thought out layout with huge rooms and private sit out in the back etc. The entire team is well trained to handle international tourists. Loved the atmosphere and would recommend the place to any.
On the improvement side, enquiries put from their website are not working at this moment and same with the lan numbers printed in the booking voucher. Guess it will be attended to shortly. Also during our stay the kitchen was getting closed by 5, which could be a challenge for many. Since the typical boating/nature walk etc. kind of activities gets closed by evening in Thekkady, an entertainment room at the property with some fuss-ball or TT or pool would be a nice addition.

Lovely decorated hotel, hearthwarming staff

Very nicely decorated hotel. Lovely, spacious, clean rooms. Enjoyed the food (e.g. breakfast) a lot. Very close to entry of park. A lot of thanks to staff that helped us with some special requests because my partner was ill. Their concerns were hearthwarming.

Beautiful Resort with Best Hospitality

We loved the architecture of the Resort. Especially the stairs inside the room for balcony was interesting for kids. The Staffs where very concerned and friendly. Simple breakfast but delicious. Best homely lovely place for a family to stay.
