Excellent property
This hotel is at GT road near railway station outside city.
The rooms are big and having all amenities.
The staff is wonderful and the best thing is food.
Their food preparation is ultimate.
I recommend this hotel if you’re staying near Kannauj.

Worst and unhygienic Food,Rude and irresponsible management
I can’t believe how disappointing this place is! As travel and food bloggers who've been to countless restaurants across India and abroad, we had high hopes for this spot after two visits in the last three years. But it seems like the management just doesn't care or improve over time. Honestly, it's appalling how little they've done to fix the glaring issues here.
Let me break it down:
1. Food Quality: The food was absolutely disgusting! The taste was awful, and it reeked like rancid oil. How is this even allowed? It’s beyond me.
2. *Dal Tadka Disaster: We ordered Dal Tadka, and it was practically inedible. The dal was half-cooked, and there was no trace of the usual tempering (tadka). I've had better dal at street vendors. This was the worst I’ve ever had.
3. Prices Are Insane: The prices here are outrageously high considering the poor quality of the food and the location. You’re basically paying for bad food and slow service at a premium. Complete rip-off.
4. Slow Service: Waiting an hour for food? That’s ridiculous! How does it take that long to prepare something so basic? Completely unacceptable.
5. False Advertising on Water:
They claim they’re serving “RO water,” but it’s non-filtered tap water. They’re straight-up lying to customers. Who does that?
6. Rude and Unhelpful Staff: When I complained about the food, they just shrugged it off and said, “This is how we prepare it.” Seriously? No effort to address customer concerns? The staff is cold and unwelcoming.
I really wanted to give this place a chance, but after two visits and zero improvement, I’m done. Don't waste your time or money here. This place doesn't deserve the business it’s getting!

Bad quality foods

Not so fancy but comfortable stay at Asha
The location of this hotel is good and little away from hustle bustle of City. We stayed in luxury rooms which were spacious, well furnished and with a balcony. The staff is mixed with some being good and others never bothering. There's ample space for parking and also facilities for drivers separately. Breakfast spread was very limited with just 4-5 options overall. Food options were good and the taste varied from dish to dish. Overall a decent stay in Kannauj

Worst service imaginable - on my wedding day.
I had my wedding at Hotel Asha. From the outside you would think it beautiful. Once you step inside the truth is clear. While their facilities are nice, the rooms were absolutely disgusting. None of the rooms had toilet paper - we had to request it. In my own room, there was urine on the toilets - when the manager was called in, we asked him if he would let his daughter stay in such a room. He said no. Yet we had to REQUEST them to clean our rooms. My fiancé’s suite had a bathroom that reeked of urine. Nothing was changed. My friends room had a coffee pot full of MOLD. When they asked for a toilet paper refill, they had to wait for THREE HOURS. Worst of all, instead of being accommodating and apologizing for the disgusting nature of the rooms, the hotel staff tried to make it seem as though they had done nothing wrong. They refused to acknowledge any mistakes. They refused to compensate us for the extreme negative reactions we felt in this hotel. When we spoke with them upon checkout about our experience, one staff member stood with her arms crossed and told us she wouldn’t speak to us because she didn’t believe she had done anything wrong. The manager who, the day before, had said he wouldn’t let his wife or daughter stay in that hotel room, stood in front of us and said “Well, at least we cleaned it.” As if it isn’t a hotel’s responsibility to make sure that their rooms are clean. The confrontations we had to deal with were absolutely abhorrent. I would not recommend staying in this hotel. If you need to stay in Kannauj, try a muddy puddle on the side of the road. It will be better than hotel Asha.
