Great Beachfront Location, but the Overall Experience Can Be Better

We stayed at Amadi as a family and booked two adjacent sea-facing rooms on the upper floor. The biggest highlight of the property is its excellent location on Ashwem Beach, with direct beach access and beautiful sea views from the rooms, balconies, and the lawn. The rooms were spacious, and the staff was courteous, cooperative, and prompt. Housekeeping was done every day, and the artificial grass on the lawn was a thoughtful addition during the monsoon, making it easy to enjoy the outdoor space despite the rain.
That said, the property itself appears a bit dated and could benefit from better maintenance. While the rooms were comfortable, some parts of the resort gave the impression of an older property that hasn't been upgraded in a while.
The in-house restaurant was the biggest disappointment. Although a complimentary buffet breakfast was included, the spread was quite limited. On multiple occasions, some food items were served cold or did not seem fresh. Instead of using proper buffet warmers, hot water was used to keep certain dishes warm, while others were served directly from the kitchen. This affected the overall breakfast experience.
Another issue was the number of cats roaming around the restaurant area. While animal lovers may not mind, it can be uncomfortable for guests who prefer a cleaner dining environment.
Overall, Amadi is a good choice if your priority is spacious sea-facing rooms, direct beach access, and helpful staff. However, improvements in property maintenance and restaurant quality would make the stay much more enjoyable and better justify the tariff.

Avoid This Resort – Highly Disappointing Stay

We recently stayed at this resort for 3 days and booked 7 rooms for our group. Considering the premium price charged by the resort, the overall experience was extremely disappointing.
The staff was consistently rude, unhelpful, and non-cooperative throughout our stay. Customer service was far below the standards one would expect from a resort in this price range.
The food quality was very poor, both in terms of taste and presentation. The swimming pool was not properly maintained and appeared unhygienic, making it uncomfortable to use.
The towels provided in the rooms had an unpleasant odor, which reflected poorly on the resort's housekeeping standards. Another major issue was the water supply in the washrooms. The taps frequently stopped working, and we had to repeatedly contact the staff to get the problem resolved.
The resort's promotional images are misleading. The lawn area does not have the sit-out arrangements shown in the pictures, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, the café lacked proper lighting, ambiance, and music. The vibrant and relaxing Goa vibe that one expects from a beach resort was completely missing.
Overall, this was one of the worst resort experiences we have had. Given the high price point, the facilities and services were nowhere near acceptable standards. We would not recommend this resort to anyone and certainly would not choose to stay here again.

Dont book based on the photo’s

To be honest the food was okay but the hotel service is useless specially the manager the way they react to your problems and they apparently have issue with using a chair on the deck when the restaurant is empty.
I would suggest dont dine over hear. Because the food quality very less and does not satisfy the price they have displayed.

Avoid this place specially multiple rooms

I was there in a group retreat. The food is excellent but they served the buffet in a very strange stingy fashion as the cheffing dishes were cold and - barely any food was served in them and we had to keep waiting for the food to come in while their team of managers were eating it too- the issue was not them eating the issue was they did nt serve enough food and we had to keep waiting for the food. They book you a room catagory and then change the room numbers and it was so awkward as they did this infront of guests clearly no value for money! The management staff is really inefficient and unwelcoming. The rooms and sheets were dirty the wardrobe was broken the locker service is a lie!
