Budget, Accessible and Very Cooperative Staff
This guest house is a decently priced stay for budget travelers . The ones who want to experience the place more than the stay. The guest house rooms are decent. Here the pros and cons:
Pros:
-Location is in middle of all major attractions. Rock Beach, Pondicherry Museum, Aurbindo Ashram, MG road, Cafe Des Arts, White Town . All these places are in range of 2km radius.
- It is mid of market so anything you want just step out and its there. MG road is nearby so you can walk in evening and shop. Hidesign Fatory outlet and showroom is like 500m away. Richi Rich if you are an ice-cream lover 600m.
-The staff is extremely cooperative. Any concerns or help you need, just reach out to them
-They have parking space. So you don't need to worry if you have a vehicle with you
Cons:
-Being budget hotel, the beds rent that comfortable, as OYO rooms or other standard hotels
-Its a closed place so do not expect any views. Being in middle of market, its becomes noisy at times

Rooms were not good
One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. I usually do not do offline hotel bookings but that day did not have much choice as the hotel we booked via MakeMyTrip cancelled at the last minute without prior notice. We just had to stay for half day as we had a bus to catch at night. They charged us Rs 2500 for a room (now we were completely OK to pay full price and I am not complaining on that) but the condition of the rooms were pathetic. There was zero daylight entering the room, switches did not have cover and bathroom was very shabby. Clearly the room did not deserve the price we paid. The location might have been near to White Town and Rock Beach but the area was crowded with local traffic. I suggest people to rather get a place in White Town or Heritage which were indeed beautiful and well maintained.

Enough for sleeping and nothing else
It is a budget hotel - just enough for sleeping. Located in the busy part of town, with whole sale vegetable in the street. Beach is 700 mts. Lots of eat joints near by. Neat clean and just about OK. Parking is an issue.

Never book at this hotel online
I haven’t seen such pathetic service in my life. Both goibibo and oyo should feel ashamed of it. Initially my booking at Oyo 11704 Ravi Krishna Inn was confirmed vide booking id HTLNWLUK37 and PNR 0059469854. When I reached the hotel at 2130 hrs, the person at the reception said that they are not taking any booking from online booking as directed by his MD during weekend and the hotel is full. I called Oyo customer service (9313931393) multiple times and I was told to wait outside the hotel. Two other families also faced the same and were found waiting at the reception. I was told that I will get a call back and I will be provided an alternate hotel nearby. I didn’t receive any call back and I kept calling Oyo customer care. Everytime a new person would pick up the call and tell that he will make me talk to his superior. But without making to talk to anyone, he would disconnect the call. This happened atleast 10 times and I kept waiting for a solution from Oyo for 1 hour. Then one gentleman suggested me to book another room and I will be refunded the earlier booking amount. He booked a room in Oyo 11612 Golden Inn vide booking no XZNU4139. When I reached there, the person at the reception made me wait for 15 minutes and said that he doesn’t have any room (check the cctv footage). Again I called Oyo customer service, one gentleman asked me to call at 9953345425 for Oyo bookings done through goibibo. I called six times, but nobody answered. Then again I called Oyo customer service (9313931393) and it was already 2 hours then. A lady booked a room at Oyo 23098 Ushama Heritage vide booking no XZNU4139. When I reached the hotel, there were no rooms available. I roamed around till 0045 hrs in the night with my wife and a 05 months baby till I found a hotel. Another gentleman called me from +913361360700
and told me that I have not reached Oyo 11612 Golden Inn and they have been waiting. It’s really ridiculous. So much unprofessional staff, so pathetic customer service, so bad are your hotels too. I express my displeasure and I will take legal action against Oyo and goibibo with all the available evidences for harassing me and my family. I am writing about this incident here so that no one falls prey to your false promises in future. I came to Pondicherry for leisure, but Oyo’s unprofessional behaviour ruined my weekend. I don’t understand, how Oyo doesn’t have any policy to blacklist such hotels who for their personal benefits, make people suffer.

Located in heart of the city, but not a good option for senior citizens
Earlier, this week we stayed in this property. Centrally located property and easily accessible from Aurobindo Ashram, Manakkula Vinayagar Temple and Beach.
Staffs and service persons were very much helpful. We can book rooms in this guest house through OYO rooms as well.
This guest house lacks an elevator or lift and very challenging for senior citizens to climb all the way to access the rooms.
As we booked through OYO rooms, they offered complimentary breakfast in room. It is limited in quantity, but enough for us and very tasty.
Overall the rooms are good and clean.
