What a wonderful holiday we had. This house is so lovely, because of the many terraces you always have a nice place in the sun or shade. If you step inside you immediately have a "home" feeling. The house is well maintained. We are happy to come back next year!

History of Stay

We spent 3 nights at the Ultimo Villa and were amazed by how enormous and stunning the area were - you would never say when coming in from the gate which leads you to the large parking area. This area is very tranquil place. The location of the villa is on the top of the hill, the beautiful surrounding will be easy to see from the villa.
Check in process was quick and easy. From the rooms and the pool area you have no idea that the villa is actually located in perfect place to relax. There are two polls for kids and adults - Great!
The room which on the top floor is the best. The bathroom is very big. The breakfast is on request the day before the comprehensive with the beautiful fare and healthy, sweet tooth, live egg station.
Staff at the villa are just amazing! The manager checked in on us personally when we were leaving to find out how our stay was, ensure we had transport booked, arrange for staff to pick up our luggage, and with the most amazing smile!!!
Thoroughly impressed with that kind of service delivery. Sure we will stay again next time.

Horrendous DO NOT BOOK!!!

We are a party of 4 couples staying at several locations across Bali and the Gili islands. Most of our stays have been in  amazing villas. Villa Ultimo was booked as our last destination. We started to feel a bit apprehensive about this villa when it indicated after we had booked that it had to be paid in cash, and then no phone numbers provided for the villa connected. After a 2 hour drive from Ubud in traffic, we eventually arrived. The villa was located far up in mountains with nothing around but other villas. The road to the villa is so bad the huge pot holes. We were met by a man and a woman that did not smile or speak to us. We were offered no welcome cool drink, as we had with everywhere else  we have stayed, and was just left to get on with it. The villa is huge but has not been maintained for what looks like several years. There where live loose electric wires everywhere we looked, some very close to the pool. There were broken tiles in places that would cause serious damage. Many light fittings  did not work, and some areas it was just a loose wire! The so called tv room was a room with a sofa and nothing much else not even a projector for the cinema room. The windows were filthy  and hadn't been cleaned for years. The kitchen area was falling to pieces (cupboard doors hanging off) with hardly an facilities and was dirty. We were completely devastated that we had been misold this so called amazing villa. The pictures on booking.com must-have been taken several years ago. The villa was advertised as having wifi, none was available. There was no welcome book letting you know about the villa and what is in the area. You could see the sea , but it would be at least an hour away to reach. The distance was also misold. There was no way we would stay in this horrendous place and I have reported it to booking.com. The manager of the villa turned up after 2pm and we let him know we were not happy and showed him some of the issues. He didn't seem entirely surprised. We said we would not be staying and we left straight away. Do not book this villa!

Ideal for a tranquil getaway

Thank you so much Villa Ultimo, the 10 of us loved the place and it was exactly what we were looking for peace and quite. The villa is beautiful and the surroundings and outlook superb. It was great to be located away from the hustle and bustle of South Kuta but close enough to easily explore by scooter or with the drivers. The nice staff helped us organising our meals and trips. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets in one place. We will miss this place and will come and stay again next time.

The Must Stay Villa in Ungasan

We were looking for relaxation, which we totally enjoyed at the beautiful facility of Villa Ultimo. The pool is great. The rooms spacious. The staff is very friendly, but maybe they need more people working...Sometimes there was only one person responsible for the villa...
There is free airport transfers, Wifi and power points everywhere, so you can work at the pool if you wish,
Great option to stay,.this is a quiet paradise and shuttle to Jimbaran only takes 10 minutes.
We highly recommend! At the same time recreational activities were also provided like one-day trips for sightseeing. So we also had a lot of fun during our stay! I totally recommend to choose Villa Uitimo!
