A great discovery. The hotel is located right next to the Monkey Forest, quiet by the rice fields. We were in the family room, spacious with a nice terrace. Breakfast was good, and Welcoming very considerate. A very nice address

The Finest Tetebatu Has To Offer

A relaxing break from a travel schedule, in a hillside bungalow, overlooking ricefields, river and jungle views, in a cooler climate than coastal areas, with Hide And Seek offering 2 individual accomodation options: Queen Suite (35m2) and bungalow (20m2) both clean, orderly and comfortable...we opted for the Queen Suite, absolutely perfect for a couple.
Hide and Seek is located just on the northern side of Tetebatu, only 200 metres from the entrance to the Monkey forest (shy black monkeys, not the more aggressive macaques).
Plenty of hiking, waterfalls, ricefields in the area, and a good staging point for anyone wishing to tackle the Mt Rinjani trek.
Egol was the perfect host, delivering meals, organising transfers and motorcycle hire, even taking a day out of his schedule, to guide us on a 174km motorcycle tour to take in mountain views, coastal roads and to just enjoy the ride.
Egol's motto: "arrive as a guest, stay as a friend, depart as family" and he certainly delivered on that!
We found the people of Tetebatu to be polite, friendly, helpful and talkative, and I believe we stumbled upon the finest accomodation the town has to offer, all at very very reasonable prices.
