The staff at the Killarney View House was so accommodating! Nita took care of everything we needed and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Great location, a short walk to downtown. Beautiful river views. Tasty breakfast! Highly recommended!

This is a complete dump no tv WiFi kettle nothing. It’s a disgrace compared to the beautiful b and bs around the country thread bare carpets and the breakfast offerings were miserable. STAY AWAY……………

Killarney hotels are overpriced

I’m sorry, but I can’t give more stars.
This hotel is an example of how overpriced the hotels in Killarney are.
Would recommend to live another place than this city.
Small room, very damp and unfurnished. Newer bathroom, but very small.
Very sad and small breakfast.
Hotel is in generally woren down.
Best thing is the free parking and friendly hosts.

This waa a basic room. You had your room only. There was a Breakfast area and a living room open from 8 am to 8 pm. No televisions anywhere. It was bare minnimum basic accomedatiins. They were nice enough. Not an American B and B.

Outdated and bland

Myself, my husband and our three children stayed here for a night to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately we didn’t find it that great, other than a place to lay your head in a pinch. Very outdated decor, and basic facilities like a kettle weren’t supplied, which isn’t great trying to heat up baby bottles during the night for a hungry newborn. We also found the hostess a little pushy, finding it odd we didn’t avail of the breakfast the following morning - our reasoning being we had three cranky hungry children who would unfortunately not suit quiet in a dining room. The bathroom door was extremely difficult to close, you can’t actually lock the door when you’re in there. We had a similar issue with the door to the room, finding that the lock needed a lot of janking in order to close it. There also seemed to be a draft in the hallway that meant the bedroom door rattled every time a neighbour opened or closed the door to their room. Lastly, the room itself while spacious, was freezing when we first entered, which wasn’t ideal for a newborn either. It was turned on by the time we had returned in the evening from town thankfully. Overall we found the hotel a little lacking, we would not be rushing to stay again, fine in a pinch but don’t expect any luxuries, slightly overpriced for the quality you get, especially in such a tourist heavy town as Killarney.
