Wonderful l place to stay and great people !!

From the moment I booked things went smoothly. I emailed to confirm my registration and that was perfect.
I was greater on arrival and given a tour to make sure I knew all the ins and outs. Everyone was friendly and helpful with places to eat , activities, live music and even forgotten items that u may need. It was my first experience in a hostel and the combination of others that stayed there and the staff I don’t know that I would ever book a hotel again. I give compliment in large part to Ondrej , Carl and Phoebe that were so nice and accommodating. Thank u for a great stay and look fwd to another.

Beware of Bed Bugs

Be very cautious with this place! It gave me bed bugs, which were awful. The hostel is very rundown, filthy and falling apart. The showers were also cold and the whole place had a bad musty smell. As a result of the bed bugs I had to dispose of my luggage which wasn't a nice experience. The owner Britt, is very rude and disorganised. She also turns into a bit of a lunatic if any grievances are aired. By all means you should stay away from this place.

Oh Jarrod you are a funny man. You literally never stayed at our hostel. You made your booking online, where you accepted the policy to not get a refund when the cancellation period is over. We often do give refunds, regardless of the policy. But because of your obnoxious tone and behaviour when asking for a refund, we decided not to and explained this multiple times to you. But you would not take no for an answer. Since April 7th, you have sent us over 115 (?!) harassing emails. So you mean I'm disorganised and rude because I don’t reply to your 115 plus emails? I'm turning into a lunatic? Sorry but who is lying about staying in the hostel and sending us an average of 4 emails a day haha? God bless

Great location - but that’s all!

The location was excellent in the centre of town; however parking was a big problem if you have a vehicle.
The establishment itself is very run down; the rooms are sparse and the linen was terrible.
There was no toilet roll holder, no toilet brush (this is non negotiable imo) and the shower curtain was torn.
Our room consisted of 2 single beds with oversized, old bed heads (unattached) so when we turned over in bed they banged against the wall.
We could hear the person in the next room snoring and another coughing so we didn’t sleep well.
Breakfast was included, this was toast and cereals.
Essentially this place is a backpackers establishment; and not for the faint hearted!
The communal living room was very untidy.

Fantastic hostel!

I stayed at the Grapevine for four nights in August 2023 and I loved this hostel! The location is perfect (and quiet, even though very close to many cool pubs). The hostel has a fully functional kitchen and breakfast is included. There is also a dining room and a living room where you can rest and chat with other travellers. The staff was fantastic, friendly and always helpful - thanks Luisa and Debbie!

Very cozy atmosphere

I stayed here with a group of friends on a weekend trip in October to Dingle and although we only stayed here for one night on the trip it was very welcoming and a cozy atmosphere. It made me like hostels and felt more like I was staying at a B&B instead of a hostel. Although we had 4 sets of bunk beds in our room for 7 people and our own bathroom, it was very spacious and is in a quiet area of town. Enjoyed the stay and is in a perfect location for exploring the rest of Dingle and hikers looking just for a place to sleep at the end of the day.
