A quiet, very pleasant hotel with some unique touches: very few hotels provide face flannels, Phoenix Park does!
Very clean room, excellent and helpful staff, family friendly.

Expensive night budget room.

Well I needed somewhere close to train station and walking distance to the Zoo, a bed and a shower, tick!
BUT
The area was awful right next to criminal court and a main road.
The traffic was continuous, and with it being warm the window needed to be open to be able to breathe. Also the pedestrian crossing kept beeping. Talking of windows, dont expect frosted glass in bathroom! Nope, just thin blind.
Very outdated decor and carpets.
Was quite expensive for one night.

A lovely hotel. Excellent staff and breakfast. Comfy bed, spacious room. The only downside is the feeble shower.

Room was clean and tidy. Complete with hairdryer. Bathroom a little on the small side. But functional. Apart from the toilet flush. A bit problematic but ok.

Rooms are spacious and there is a kettle.
Hotel is close to tram and heuston Station. Tram is much faster than any bus. However if you get room towards main street You will have to sleep with closed window.
