Magnificent stay

+ kindness and helpfulness of Pat and John
+ excellent breakfast at 10€ per person on request
+ beautiful house and very clean
+ tranquility
- parquet a bit noisy when walking
- soundproofing to other rooms not perfect
- bed a little small and mattress too soft

Colman house Kilmihil Co Clare

OVER PRICED FOR BED ONLY TV NOT WORKING PAT & JOHN OWNERS .Sunday Morning Pat was at work in town john is the housekeeper at 10.15 he told me he had to go to a match i left ..Its a very nice house very peaceful its in a small village Check out in most hotels & bb is 11 o"clock.

Outstanding in every way

Colmán house - 5 stars
I Always try and do fair objective reviews however there is nothing I didn’t love about this place. The location is great (with car, not sure about other transport) it was quiet and a short drive to some fabulous places such as loop head and bridges of Ross. Beautiful little patio to sit out on.
The home/rooms were incredibly clean, cleaner than any high star hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
Everything felt and looked brand new. beds super comfortable, room spacious, owners lovely and gave great recommendations on places to visit and eat. Breakfast was great. This place is outstanding.

Excellent stay

Stayed in this beautiful home with our two children, exceptionally clean, comfortable room with lovely ensuite, excellent shower, mini fridge, kettle, cold drinks but most of all appreciated how lovely the owners Pat and John are, we had an unavoidable change to our travel arrangements half way through our stay and Pat and John were so kind and understanding and so generous in allowing us cancel our final days with full reimbursement, it's important to say Booking.com were also really helpful.
Brilliant location, felt really relaxing and fabulous bright tv room with Smart TV which the children loved. Beautifully kept grounds.

Family trip to Co.Clare

We stayed at Colman house Kilmihill,Co.Clare for 5 nights, the best holiday yet......so much to do in Co.Clare,swimming at lanhich &Spanish point beaches., took the ferry from doolin to the Aran Islands....the hosts at Colman House,Kilmihill,were exceptional and fully covid compliant.The rooms were immaculate & it’s situated in the beautiful settings of Kilmihill.Providing all knowledge in the surrounding area......wish we had more time in County Clare.
