Lovely hotel - highly recommend

Lovely 2 night family stay at the hotel. We were upgraded to a family suite, which was amazing and we had so much room with 2 double beds and bunk beds, as well as a lounge /TV area and a gorgeous bathroom and dressing room. Kids loved the pool and my husband and I used the gym, sauna and steam. Staff all friendly and helpful and a great base for visiting Cobh, Cork and Kinsale. Highly recommend and would visit again if staying in the area.

An enjoyable stay at the Talbot Hotel

A good location. Staff were very polite and helpful. Spacious clean and comfortable rooms. The downside was the security box not working which I think is a priority in hotel rooms.

Enjoyable stay

Lovely hotel.
Friendly staff.
Tasty breakfast.
Comfortable bed but thought the room could have been cleaner. The carpet looked shabby.

Excellent!!!

We were touring Europe for 3 weeks and of all the hotels, this has to be the best. We stayed there for 4 nights. The location was wonderful, only a 20 min bus ride to Central City. (The bus stop was right outside the hotel) The meals were excellent, with a wonderful variety for breakfast and always hot and fresh. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only thing is that there is no air conditioning, but then there were very few hotels that had it. They do supply fans. The biggest thing was the staff. They were absolutely wonderful. They always had suggestions on places to go and things to do. When we get back to the hotel in the evening, after touring around all day, they would always asked and discussed how our day went. We recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Lovely big spacious room with a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was really good with a good selection. Staff were lovely and very helpful on reception. The bar staff were really friendly and helpful with plenty of chat. Really enjoyed my stay here.
