A bit remote, so a car is a must, but a beautiful peaceful location with stunning mountain views. The staff are great and the food is amazing.

Wish I could score this ZERO

I came here for a quiet stay as I am currently being treated for breast cancer. I needed peace and quiet somewhere beautiful.
What I have got is
1, cold showers- no hot water at all for two days now. The shower is a nozzle over a bath with a shower curtain! And they say this is 4* yet it doesn’t even reach a 3*
2. A lovely balcony with great views that we can’t use because of the loud music being played by adjacent rooms.
3. The cooking experience we were looking forward to doesn’t seem to exist. We asked about it and no response.
4. A wedding took over all the grounds yesterday so no loungers and pool unusable
5 apparently there is another party all day tomorrow so the hotel will be unusable again
6. Ate in the restaurant tonight but came away having had no food as the veal salad contains no veal at all
7. Breakfasts are terrible. A few croissants and some fruit salad and if you’re lucky a slice of an omelette but it will have gone cold
We will be moving tomorrow and will be expecting a refund

Hotel response

Dear Ms. Judy H., this is the first time I've had a guest stay at the property after having such serious complaints (in fact, you wrote this review on June 1st, while your check-in is tomorrow, June 6th), and that's why I feel compelled to respond to this review.
First of all, I apologize for the two days of intense work and the property being full. However, even though the property is full, we have ample outdoor space and can manage with complete peace of mind, and the rooms are located far from the restaurant. I also want to point out that the pool is a service reserved exclusively for hotel guests, and those using the restaurant are not allowed in. For the rest of your vacation, however, I understand that you were able to fully enjoy relaxation and tranquility.
Indeed, as for the rest, I can confirm, as I already mentioned in person, the measures that were taken:
1. A boiler for the hot water in the shower went out, and we resolved the issue within half an hour;
2. We instructed the guests in the neighboring room to keep the volume of the music they were listening to on their cell phones low.
3. The cooking class was already scheduled for Wednesday, June 3rd (the day after she wrote this review), and she attended. At the end of the class, I asked her how the experience went, and she herself told me she had a great time.
4. On June 1st, at dinner, the salad she ordered was indeed missing the veal, but being human, mistakes can happen. We apologized (it was my fault in this case) and promptly offered to remake it immediately. She left the table very angry (and I'm sorry about that) and refused to accept my apology. However, I understand that you also dined at our restaurant on subsequent evenings, and I thank you for that.
This is what happened, and since we have the opportunity to discuss this in person (at least until tomorrow), I reiterate my apologies and would also like to hear from you in person, should you wish. I am at your complete disposal.
Best regards
Giuseppe Mascarella

A corner of green

All good, beautiful location, immersed in
Green. Perfect service, good food, the only flaw is the distance, Palermo is a bit '.

I got to Women's Day to have lunch at this farm. The service is excellent, helpful and kind, the food was exquisite and plentiful, the facility very nice and welcoming. I highly recommend it to those who want to try it.
