Surprising.

The restaurant attached to the Hotel Mannu was a big surprise due to its sophisticated and almost experimental type of cuisine. All the dishes we tasted were delicious, starting with the steamed oyster with shrimp tartare and fennel, moving on to the yellowfin tuna with steaming oil and poppy seeds, and finishing with a very fresh turbot fillet prepared in an excellent way. A variety of well-assorted wines, empathetic and precise service, and an atmosphere a bit below the level of the cuisine. Fair bill. Definitely worth returning to.

Shadow and light with a prospect of improvement

The comparatively small hotel is in need of renovation. You can tell.
The reportedly relatively new mattress toppers made of quite soft foam on a hard base, no slatted frame, conveyed a hard, uncomfortable sleeping sensation. There is nothing to sugarcoat there.
The floor in the very small shower is extremely slippery. There are mats for that.
The rooms facing the street, which are quite small overall anyway, with a view of a large supermarket, already let in noticeable street noise when the window is open (delivery to the supermarket).
An elevator would be nice, but it would still fit. Reportedly, a structural reform is in the works, good luck!
The excellent restaurant will be rated separately!

Top!!! Everything perfect

We ate dishes that were nothing short of… spectacular!!!
And then at very honest prices. Service is okay.

Good location for exploring Bosa & surrounding areas.

Good location just on the outskirts of the town but within an easy 10 minute walk.
There is a supermarket opposite and restaurants and cafes nearby.
The hotel is a little dated but the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is good and there is onsite free parking. We dined in the restaurant one night & the food was excellent. One thing to mention is that the staff speak very little English so we were grateful we had done some Italian language study before coming or we would have struggled.

Excellent

Excellent restaurant, expertly cooked dishes, fully respecting Sardinian tradition, sober and welcoming environment, friendly and very professional staff. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area.
