Good experience
Location chosen for its proximity to Como.
From previous reviews I was prepared for a spartan accommodation, but instead I found a kind and competent welcome, comfortable and clean environments. Family management including the restaurant which seemed to us to be of excellent quality/price ratio. Abundant breakfast. To be recommended and repeated the experience especially to break up a tourist trip or for a visit to Como

Small but nice
The Albergo Ponte Vecchio is a very small, but cozy and clean hotel. You have everything you need, as well as breakfast and dinner in the in-house restaurant right next door.
The ferry or bus are within easy walking distance.

Good value for money
We spent four nights in this modest hotel.
The air-conditioned room is spacious and well equipped. The only downside is the lack of lighting, no ceiling light.
Spacious and practical equipped bathroom for disabled people but also lacks lighting, which is a shame.
Hotel located near a motor bridge but the windows insulate the noise well.
It's a shame, however, the lack of blackout curtains.
The owner, with his somewhat gruff air, made the effort to understand us in French and give us all the instructions.
For €3 per day, parking space available opposite.
Breakfast included but average (no bread???)
We had dinner there one evening but it was mediocre.

What a desappointment
Poor quality hotel both in terms of non-reception and breakfast (no bread) and very restrictive as well as the unsanitary shower where the bars for PMR are dirty and taped in 2 places to hold them. The shower curtain is also dirty on the bottom. All this is very
unfortunate because the room was spacious, air-conditioned, an elevator served the floors and the hotel had a restaurant. Personally we will not return there.

Dinner
Very warm welcome in family run hotel restaurant. Excellent unpretentious food all served promptly and with a smile. Good portions. Best aperol spritz on this trip to Italy. Everything very good value. This has become our "local" during our stay!
