Great family-run hotel, perfect for our needs / A very nice, family-run small hotel, perfect match...
The rooms are spacious, modern, and absolutely functional, with a balcony and great beds.
L’Tabladel treats its guests to a 4-course meal (starting with salads and small delicacies from the buffet, followed by an appetizer, a main course, and, for those who still wish, dessert). High-quality and flavorful—no one goes to bed hungry here. If desired and nothing suitable is available on the daily menu, one can also order a delicious pizza "from next door." It is truly great.
I highly recommend L’Tabladel; the prices are fair for the service provided!
If there were anything to criticize: Optimizing the details. FOR EXAMPLE, storage options for glasses wearers in the sauna, perhaps a second armchair in the spacious living area. (This prevents dozing off while lying in bed watching TV…)

L’Tabladel is a recently renovated, tastefully decorated hotel that perfectly suits my style. Family-run (the owner cooks himself, while his wife manages the day-to-day operations), with plenty of charm and good taste, L’Tabladel is a hotel in a prime location and also features a small but truly wonderful spa area.

Wonderful stay… just choose your room carefully
The hotel has been beautifully renovated. While the exterior is fairly traditional, the interior is stylish, elegant and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm mountain atmosphere that feels both authentic and modern.
This is clearly a family-run hotel, and it shows in the best possible way. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The wellness area, although not particularly large, was spotless and very pleasant, with saunas, a steam room, a relaxation area, herbal teas and small snacks available after a day in the mountains.
We had chosen the half-board option, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, while dinner was outstanding every single evening. The chef clearly takes great pride in his work, and every meal was a highlight.
Another detail we particularly appreciated was the hotel’s own hiking guide. Instead of simply handing guests a tourist brochure, they had put together dozens of carefully selected walks, making it incredibly easy to discover the area.
The location is also excellent. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from two cable cars, making it an ideal base for hiking or mountain biking. Like many hotels in the region, it also provides the Guest Pass, giving free access to public transport.
Our only disappointment concerned the room. We had booked the most expensive suite, expecting it to offer the hotel’s best experience. While the suite itself was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated, it was located at parking level, with the terrace facing parked cars rather than the mountains. After the breathtaking views we had enjoyed elsewhere in the Dolomites, this felt like a missed opportunity. We simply don’t think the hotel’s premium room should come with its least inspiring view.
Apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Next time, though, we would pay more attention to the room location when booking.

A reconfirmation
Recently renovated hotel, attention to detail, in typical mountain style.
Clean rooms (we also have a dog and on rainy days we were provided with extra linen).
Bike storage and parking.
Waitstaff, both for breakfast and dinner, very helpful and attentive to the needs of guests, but never intrusive, always friendly and smiling in ways.
A special mention to the cuisine, dishes refined in combinations and well served.
One night a week, Ladin dinner.
Both for breakfast and dinner, large buffet with a different cake every day, vegetables, cheeses, cold cuts and other evening delicacies both fish and meat.
Finally the location, optimal for walks and trails departing from Colfosco.
