Ideal hotel for those who want to visit Como and surroundings

Hotel located in a strategic position to visit Como and surroundings, (the bus stop is in front of the hotel). Clean rooms, great breakfast and parking included. Reasonable prices. The kind Mrs. Cristina is prodigal with advice and available to solve problems. Highly recommended!

A very good and clean hotel

The hotel is a bit older but very clean rooms. Cosy beds and a simple but very good breakfast. The staff is very friendly, you also speak some German. Can only recommend it! Also a good location, you can walk to many places, such as restaurant and shops.

I would give the maximum 5 stars also because it is very convenient location where it is served by buses.

Very comfortable hotel, spotless, we felt like home.
Cristina the owner is nothing short of divine, very nice and does her job with passion and maximum dedication. Hearty and varied breakfast and delicious croissants.

Lovely, welcoming & clean

Hotel was clean, welcoming and good value for a two star hotel - we were pleasantly surprised. It was a good choice for an overnight stop and especially so as we only booked it an hour before we arrived; we were a little apprehensive with it being two stars but it really wasn’t a problem at all.
The secure parking was an added bonus as was the breakfast. This is a lovely little hotel, run by a welcoming family who are more than helpful with advice on the area etc. We took the bus down to the lake for €5 (for two) and we got a taxi back which cost €20. This was a very pleasant comfortable stay. We would stay here again if in the area.

Simple but clean with friendly welcome

This is a small family run albergo, where you get a really genuine friendly and helpful welcome. It is really clean and although simple it has what you need for a stopover or even a longer stay in Como. They were willing to get some soya milk for our vegan daughter, and were very helpful explaining the best way to drive down to the lake and where to park our car. The frontage (where it still says "Albergo Milano") almost makes you think it has closed down, but the actual entrance is at the rear in a one way side street, although there is no real signage there, so you have to be eagle eyed and follow the instructions to look opposite a particular shop. Represents good value for money, but don't expect 4 star luxury or facilities.
