Total relaxation
Quiet place, a magnificent lake view with a terrace that few dream of.... excellent friendliness and kindness.... from the first time I came, my partner and I.... we come here every year because a beautiful friendship has also been born.... sometimes it is really the people who arrive to stay who are rude.

Never again.
I am a person who adapts well to situations, but here it was very hard. I would like to find positive things, but the only positive thing is the view. Family-run hotel with zero interaction with customers other than good morning, good evening, coffee or cappuccino? (only at breakfast). Very dated hotel, the rooms that don't have a lake view have a very noisy portable air conditioner, especially at night; upon arrival the room was a bit dirty (hair and dust), there is no minibar. The mattresses were uncomfortable with springs that could be felt right in the ribs, causing back pain and an inability to sleep. The breakfast is always the same with no possibility of choice: 1 croissant, honey, jam, cookies, 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of salami, 2 of cheese (they didn't look good and didn't smell good either). I do not recommend it and I would not return.

Good.
Pension a little old, not soundproofed, but not very expensive for the location, by Lake Maggiore.
Our welcome was made by Jean-Pierre, great! With good advice and recommendations, especially on restaurants.
Besides the restaurant of the campsite next door offers us an excellent meal.
Breakfast is imposed but hearty.
The service is impeccable and the staff always very friendly.
A beautiful terrace with a view of the lake is very friendly.

CAPRI c'est fini...
Avoid the summer months!
The hotel does not have air conditioning and you only have a simple fan to try to cool a room that is over 30° in summer...
In addition, it is a very noisy place because you have to choose between the compromise of opening the window a little to get some fresh air or the peace and quiet... Opening the window means having to put up with mosquitoes and the noise of cars that, in summer, pass by all night long right in front of the hotel.
In addition, the hotel mentions a car park that it does not have, since the car parks are public and in the adjacent streets.
Outside the summer season, this may be a sufficient hotel depending on your level of requirement. The hotel is still aging, the welcome was cordial and the terrace for breakfast is pleasant, but nothing more...
But despite this, this hotel remains my worst experience, because of the unbearable heat (July) in the room, the noise due to the traffic and mosquitoes...

Fully ok for one night
We stayed in the hotel for one night. Clean room, great terasse, a couple of restaurants nearby, superb view on breakfast terasse, very friendly.
Its not a five star hotel, but price value is really good. 100€ for a family of three, breakfast included. Thats fair. Breakfast is "italian" so dont expect an abbundand buffet, but you get fresh croissants and bread, with yoghurt etc. Juice was not my cup of tea, but I did not ask for a different one.
Drawbacks:
1. walls are vey thin and you hear everything on the corridor
2. Aircondition consists of two portable fans.
If you want a reasonable and inexpensive hotel for a short stay I fully recommend .
