The hotel is not in Trieste, but 8 kms from the city they claim on their title.
Once you arrive, they provide you with outdated information about the bus to Venize. We waited 45 minutes under the sun because they gave us old information. Rooms are not quiet at night. Walls are thin. You can hear travelers arriving in the meddle of the night. Shower boxes are small. Breakfast is scarce (small glasses, coffee, plates) and their breakfast personnel is not friendly, I asked them to have a jar of water and she replied out loud in a moody way.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was Super small. There was no place to put shampoo or soap in the shower-no shower shelves. There is an elevator and parking garage. Breakfast was good. The staff was polite and helpful! Location was very nice. About a 15 min. bus ride to Venice. Buy the tickets at the guest services.

We had to stay there at the last minute because the our original hotel canceled at the last minute. They were great! We only stayed there one night, but the staff was so helpful and friendly. We only had approximately 6 hours to spend in Venice. I wish I could remember the name of the young woman at the front desk. She mapped everything for us. Walked across the street to get to bus that took us directly to Venice and even told us what time to be back to pick up luggage in order to make it on time for the train to Florence. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Superb accommodation in Malcontenta

If you want to visit Venice, this hotel is the best base for exploring the city and its attractions. It offers rooms and excursions to Venice. If you want it cheaper, you can take the bus (stop in front of the hotel) for little money almost to St. Mark's Square. I find the price-performance ratio reasonable. If you prefer an Italian breakfast, you just have to go out of the hotel and right. After less than 30 meters there is a bar with excellent caffè and brioche/cornetti.
