Quiet and lovely stay
Quiet and lovely stay, spent with my family.
Very large room, clean and well-kept bathroom with large shower.
The presence of the swimming pool, also large and spacious, allowed relaxation.
Recommended for those who do not want to stay in the city, but want to enjoy a relaxing few kilometers.

If even the owner's own son has decided this business isn't worth carrying forward, that tells you everything you need
The photos are a lie. And the manager made sure we didn't forget it.**
We booked based on the photos. They look fine online. Decent room, reasonable breakfast area. What the photos don't show, of course, is the atmosphere. Or the manager.
First thing we noticed on arrival: the hotel was nearly empty. Venice in summer, tourists everywhere, and this place had almost no guests. That's not a coincidence. That's a reputation.
The room was acceptable. Nothing special, but fine. Breakfast was a different story. An insect wandering around the food. We flagged it. The manager appeared. And whatever goodwill we had left disappeared in about thirty seconds, because this man was simply rude. Not stressed, not having a bad day. Just rude, as a default setting.
At some point we spoke with his son. Completely different person, warm, easy to talk to. We mentioned the situation with his father, gently. He looked at us and said he had no intention of continuing the business. None at all.
At the time I thought it was an odd thing to say about your own family's place. Now I know exactly why he said it.
We checked out early. Asked about a refund for the unused night we'd already paid. No. Not even a conversation. Just no.

Prenoti due notti senza possibilità di cancellare il pernottamento ma vuoi fare il check-out anticipato? Minaccia una recensione per pretenderlo. Che poi, recensione...questo è solo un rigurgito di rabbia, addirittura inserendo dinamiche familiari del tutto inventate. Non è nostra abitudine rispondere ma tale sproloquio lo merita. Purtroppo, come sempre più spesso avviene, il rispetto viene sempre preteso dal cliente che non lo porta. In questo caso, ai signori scriventi (i quali ci hanno omaggiato di ben due recensioni) è stato concesso il check-in in piena notte. Ciò evidentemente non è bastato ad accontentarli, in quanto al mattino avevano pure la pretesa di modificare la prenotazione senza saldare la seconda notte (peraltro, la prenotazione era proveniente da un portale non nostro e pertanto era impossibile accontentarli), ovviamente sotto l'ormai nota minaccia "io sono un noto reporter, ho molte amicizie e vi rovinerò". Ebbene, caro signore, la storia della nostra struttura è ormai ultraventennale: senza voler apparire arroganti, siamo sopravvissuti tutti questi anni senza di voi, pensiamo che ciò possa continuare per tanti altri. Non si preoccupi se la struttura le è apparsa vuota (non lo era, ma non è necessario stare qui a fornire spiegazioni), quello casomai sarebbe un problema nostro. Non suo. Il problema è definire "maleducata" una persona che vi ha aperto nel cuore della notte quando avrebbe potuto benissimo lasciarvi fuori (legga la sua conferma di prenotazione, si soffermi in particolare sulle condizioni di check-in). Il problema è distorcere completamente le parole del figlio dei titolari, il quale vi ha semplicemente detto che non avrebbe voluto continiare la conversazione dopo aver sentito la minaccia "vi rovino con la recensione" e che ha tentato di spiegarvi il motivo per il quale avreste dovuto pagare la seconda notte anche in caso di check-in anticipato. Il problema è inventare un insetto nel buffet della colazione. Il problema è addirittura definire farlocche le foto della nostra struttura. Il problema è rigurgitare livore su chi da molti anni fa il proprio lavoro con passione ma si trova davanti chi non porta rispetto. Fortunatamente, però, per alcuni di questi problemi c'è una soluzione: ricevete presto notizie dal nostro legale. Non siamo più disposti a tollerare chi inventa fantasie per denigrare chi lavora. A presto!

Honestly, where to start. The room itself was fine. Not great, not terrible. Fine. We weren't expecting a palace.
But breakfast? There was an insect crawling near the food. We told the staff. The response was... nothing. A shrug, basically. And the manager, when we tried to speak with him, was flat-out rude. Not busy-and-distracted rude. Intentionally dismissive rude. The kind that makes you feel like you're a problem to be managed, not a guest.
We decided to check out early. Couldn't stay in a place where we felt unwelcome. Asked about a refund for the night we'd already paid for and weren't going to use. No. Not even a conversation about it. Just no.

New breakfast room.
It was a long time since we returned to Cà Rocca, but it was a real pleasure.
The rooms have always been well furnished and with all u comfort, even in the bathroom. The perfect temperature without touching heating or air conditioning.
We found and greatly appreciated the change that involved the breakfast and reception area (I think also the outdoor pool). A beautiful breakfast room has been created, bright, quiet and pleasant, ideal for breakfast without the din of the outside world. Wide choice.
We found the same friendliness and kindness in the owners.
Recommendation and we will come back again.

Perfect place for any occasion
I have been staying every week for almost 4 years now every week. A perfect place, both for leisure and for work. Excellent breakfast, both sweet and savory, large and well-kept rooms. Outdoor swimming pool. Owners available and attentive to the customer.
